Most political forums are free and the moderators are volunteers. The "personality" of each forum is a little different depending upon the owners/"Admin" and the collective will of the moderators.
Light moderation. Allows adults to talk like adults. A political forum is like a "bull session" in a local bar/pub. Yes, in the evenings (or even afternoons) many are drinking, but it's just talk. Wear a thick skin and feel free to speak your mind without worrying about being banned because you stepped on someone's "safe space".
