It sounds like one of the safety features of the heater was triggered and we would need to reset the firmware or replace the device for you so you don't have to wait a long time. Please email us at techsupport@mypurmist.com and we will assist you immediately.
This has happened to me twice since Xmas. Brought first one back and second in start up went to blue flashing light as well. I am bringing back and getting refund. Nice idea if it worked but units are defective and poorly designed
