Good evening Denise. You're describing classic Yeast overgrowth issues, which we deal with around the clock here. Our success rate - with our Healthy Skin Program is almost universal. The only folks that don't win are those that decide to give up too early. It is, unfortunately, a time-consuming process; BUT, there is NO other fix for these problems. Typical recommended 'treatments' will get you nowhere, except an empty pocket-book. Apoquel, like all other 'suppress symptoms' approaches, will calm symptoms for a short while, but that is not a resolution. See the 2nd link below for more info on the Apoquel. Otherwise to understand how to finally 'resolve' these issues, use this LINK - https://www.nzymes.com/dog-yeast-infections-video-and-faq/

Yeast can take a long time to get out of your dog's system. They say at least 3 months and when they say it gets worse before it gets better, it does! Bathe often. I think it is a matter of what your dog's skin will handle, such as shampoos and lotions. I use different shampoo and it's working better than the ones suggested. It is a matter of trial and error with my dog as far as the lotions and shampoos go but the nzymes large kit I believe is working but consistency pays off. Will repost in another month.

Stop apoquel, addictive, risk of cancer. Get on Nzyme program ASAP, call hot line for your dog's specifics. Also, try DERMagic topically.

YES, it can and does help. Follow the instructions as prescribed and within a few days you and your pet will notice the difference. Just be sure to have a gram stain from your vet done prior to starting just to rule out anything serious. Nzymes will remove toxins from within your pet but your pet may need a prescription to clean up any yeast or fungus already present. My Dog hasn't scratched his ears in over a month since we started on this plan. We are still working on clearing up the already present yeast and fungal injections deep within the ear canals.
