Question:

What is to stop someone you have give your card to from switching between cards and making charges to all of them without you knowing until your bill arrives

Answer:

Good question. I can't answer that one. But that is also possible with a single credit card with multiple swipes. You can configure it so that if the Coin gets beyond bluetooth range, it will lock and notify your phone (e.g., if you forget your Coin and walk away). Usually a credit card reader at a restaurant is within bluetooth range, so the locking mechanism wouldn't help (and besides, if the Coin is locked, you can't use it to make a charge).
