I am confused, is this a real amber alert system that is free like when your child go missing or do we pay for it?

No, it's a (scam) business that offers to broadcast your lost pets information after paying.

Its not free. I paid and received NOTHING. They did not call my neighbors nor did they fax my poster to all the local vets, shelters, pets stores, etc. I lost valuable time by naively believing this scam of a service was actively searching for my pet. Once I realized they werent (I finally started asking neighbors and vets if they had been contacted and No One had been contacted) I got on it myself but it was too late. I never found my cat. PetAmberAlert did not return my calls. I was able to get my money back from my credit card company. Do Not Rely On This Company!

Absolutely not. I learned the hard way is one big scam that ends up ripping your heart out in the end because you're wasting a lot of time that you could be using towards finding your animal on waiting for them and they do nothing. And then if that wasn't enough they also make you sign something stating ahead of time that you will not ask for your money back. I was stupid I should have seen that as a red flag that I was so distraught about my cat that I was willing to do anything and I paid for it I don't want you to have to pay for it also. There may be some legit companies that actually do this but this one is not it.

It's free to post your missing pet's info on their site and an additional fee to get their pet detectives and media blitz capabilities working for you.

They have a free alert service, and a service you can pay for that advertises your pet across a variety of services.

Basically, it's just like everyone else has said here... This company is a complete SCAM! They promise you the sun and the moon, then take your money and you never hear from them again. Stay away from Pet Amber Alert! They are a total ripoff!
