POF is not free at all, you have to upgrade; become a paying member to be able to do anything interesting.
Theres alot of reasons why this will happen if your eyeballing every woman in the room on your makes a woman feel embarrassed and want to get away really quick not out of insecurity but there is a thing called respect a guy makes it really easy to assume hes a whore and the woman wants to not be seen with him plus men should keep there hands to themselves
You don't have to upgrade. I suggest not upgrading at all. The only thing upgrading is good for is contacting another upgraded member unless of course the said upgraded member messages u first, then u may message them back however there are not too many upgraded members anyway
Never pay for addition options on POF or any site. POF had all those now paid extras for free once and they still sucked.

It is an IP address issue! Ok now they know where you at and what computer you are using? Go to Starbucks use different computer or I pad or any wireless personal E pad...
Or just better than all ask a friends to use his computer ( but use new screen name and new e-mail address)?
Do not use the one you used before!? They have all on record...
After you get an account? You can continue to use your computer as usual again to log on after that..
What happens when you send a "flirt" to someone or they send one to you? Do you get an email that says someone wants to meet you?
The POF flirt feature is only one direction. Women can send to men but men cannot "flirt" with a woman. Quite often, I receive a flirt, but do not check it because it is awkward to follow up - the process is convoluted. Even worse is the "want to meet" feature because the web site does not tell me that a woman clicked on it. And when I go to check "want to meet" it asks me if I want to meet a woman (picture only) and I have to click on a very small link to see who wants to meet me.
