I am 63 and 14 months ago had a -2.7 osteoporosis score and was told to go on medication ...have been doing the save our bones excercises and taking trueosteo for a year and following some of the food guide lines. Score 2 weeks ago was -2.6 ...was pleased but hoping for a little better ...dr just about insisting I take the meds,,,,but I am reluctant ....do you think my scores will continue to improve if I keep my current efforts up......I hill walk and jog a bit for half an hour 4 times a week as well as the exercise program of 3 excercises a day 6 times a week!

You essentially stayed flat, a good thing with osteoporosis.
If you're really resistant to starting on meds, you could watch for your next scan (hopefully after a year.) Then you'd have a third data point that could give a much better idea of what path you're on.
On the other hand, if you started treatment, you'd be one year down the road to knowing how your bones respond to the meds.
Tough calls with osteoporosis.
