If I shopped for refurbished goods... and I want to ship them to a country that cannot accept refurbished goods... can you create me a new invoice after you've received the goods without the words REFURBISHED?

Do you alter prices for lower duties for the benefit of the client?

Hi Sam,

I note Joanna D.'s answer which seems pretty straight forward, but the problem comes when your Countries Customs agents process your shipment. Stackry will absolutely decline to submit a Customs Declaration if the information has been falsified (as you are suggesting) as they would be breaking US Customs Laws, and even if they were foolish enough to do what you are suggesting it is likely that YOU might face prosecution by your country's Customs/Border Forces.

If it helps, as far as the US purchase is concerned, if you purchase goods/equipment/electronics from a US Store which is selling it as 'Refurbished' but with the same warranty and sales conditions as BNIB and it has been refurbished by the manufacturer (Dell does this a lot!) then it is treated as though it is new. However, your Invoice from the Retailer may/may not show 'Refurbished'. If it doesn't say 'Refurbished' you're good to go! Check with the Retailer's Customer Support Agents to find out how they will be identified... Good Luck

Hi Sam,
I don't work for Stackry but have used them. When my items arrive with them I write the description and value for it, this is what is used in the customs label. You can also select if you want original invoices included or not. Obviously, if things are stopped for a random inspection you can't guarantee it would get through, just letting you know exactly how the customs labels get generated ;)
