I went back thorough and tried to reorder tickets. There is a warning that prices are in USD…but it's buried at the end of a bunch of legalese and followed by more tech jibberish and a big 'Place Order' button.
Ethical sites make you select your country/currency based on where web traffic is coming in from to make it very clear you're paying in USD - and offer a 'buyers remorse' period.
Since I won't even get my tickets for 16 days, they have plenty of time to resolve this; especially as I acted within minutes of the charge going through.
At best, terrible business practices; at worst, outright fraud.
