I guess you could ask the same thing about companies that sell radar detectors and the people that buy them. You could also ask every member of AshleyMadison.com how moral it is to be a member of that site. You could ask abortion clinics that perform late-term abortions how they could perform such a service. I'm sure that whatever answer I give to you will not meet the high ethical standards that you have set for yourself and society. Maybe I'm rich and lazy; maybe I'm not smart enough to write my own papers; or maybe I'm just a working single parent that is overwhelmed with 2 kids and work and I need some help to finish my degree so I use this service to get by. Regardless of why I use this service, the fact is that--while it may not be totally moral--it is perfectly legal. I respect your opinion and I hope you would respect mine without judging me, or anyone else. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to respond to your question.

Let me pose some issues to you Helen. Did you know the leading cause of death for college student is suicide? Do you know that sciences in your completed degree plan are only good for 5 years? I am a returning college student with a Math & Science degree who thought I was just going to be able to gain entry into a trade school and found out I had almost another 2 years of prerequisites. Hello I have done my time and completed a dual degree. The bones haven't changed nor has a lot of the other Anatomy & Physiology of the human body. So why am I at 52 having to do all this again? Papers having to be written in classes I have already taking and that really have no bearing on the subject to begin with are better left to others that need the money and job. I understand you find it disgusting but that's part of your job I guess to attack a subject you maybe haven't done any research on. So now maybe you have some insight into a system that has its issues and maybe you can crusade on the side of stupid assignments and wasted time and bettering an education system that pumps out suicides and discourages returning students.

The great thing about this is that no one cares what you think. Beyond the fact you have no idea of why I use there services. You know absolutely nothing about me. How is it legal for you to be so judgmental?

I am a college professor. I am saddened by the existence of this business model. This "service" is a theft, a theft of an education from the student, which doesn't seem to be of concern to your buyers, writers, or your company. Secondly, though you may "legally" buy and sell the papers, it is utterly illegal to submit false work in an academic institution in your own name. A student can be immediately ejected out of a class with an "F," get a plagiarism file opened, and ultimately expelled from the institution. Are buying papers, degrees, diplomas ethical? Of course not. Legal? Maybe so, but that will only be the beginning for the student. You are starting a slippery slope of lying and cheating to achieve your ends, and supposedly "earning" your goals, though illegitimately. Remember, fake diplomas and false statements made by an employee on a resume can lead to immediate termination. Lying, cheating, and stealing on the job, stealing and cheating in your business practices, breaking laws are all punishable offenses, with negative consequences. The level of dishonesty that is rippling through our culture and our society is horrifying and sad. When First Ladies plagiarize prior First Ladies in their speeches, and when a President makes up the rules as he sees fit for any of the innumerable illegal and unscrupulous behaviors he engages in, it shows a decline of a civilization which may become irreparable.

May I add, that I am also an educated person now working on my Masters. I understand how you feel disgusted, because frankly I get it, why should you have to do all of these papers, and we can just use our finances to slide by. However, this is not the case for me, I have learning disabilities that cause serious attention deficiencies. It takes me exuberant amount of time to even get my thoughts on the page. I find that I have other great skills that I can easily access and can be a great asset to this world, but writing papers is not one of them. I feel I have a lot to give to this world, but if it depended on me writing papers I would never be able blossom and gain an education. Still not an excuse, I know, but I wasn't given the same attention span as most, so I have to figure out how to make the world work for me. Not to mention I'm a single mother. I'm not sure if these are excuses or how I would label them. You are definitely entitled to your opinion, but I am really glad that we could at least enlighten you to some of the real reasons people need these services. Sometimes its not just because you can, but rather a need for what ever "excuse" one may have.
