After waiting almost 2 months I went to the bank and filed fraud on wise sales. The bank gave us a provisional credit. You only have 60 days to do this and start an investigation through your bank if you pay by debit card. A little longer through a credit card. We never received the Honda generators we ordered. Has anyone started a class action lawsuit yet?

I had to call my bank which had issued my credit card and had them get the money back. Wisesales are the most unwise company to use for any purchase. I called the Schumburg police and filed a complaint with them and notified the local Better Business Bureau about their unethical business practices, also the Schumburg Chamber of Commerce. They all acted as though they could care less. I have not filed a fraud charge them since I did get my money back but if you need me as a witness I would be happy to see anyone connected to Wises Sales go to jail!

Not yet. I paid with Amazon and got my money refunded through the Amazon A to Z guarantee but would still love to put it to those Wise Sales guys in any way I could

I have contacted BBB and my credit card. Credit card replaced the money temporarily on my account and after 30 days of no response from Wise to BBB, the BBB closed the case and said it would just negatively impact their business status. I began to try to call and both phone and website are gone for Wise. It does look their rentals are still open. I almost want to make a drive to Illinois and deal with it in person.

Disappointed they are still engaging in such practices. This has been going on for several years now. I used PayPal and their guarantee returned my purchase with no problem. Would like to see these guys stopped.

I filed a complaint with the Illinois Attorney General's office. Believe it or not someone actually called me from their office to follow up, even though I don't live in Illinois. By then Wise sales had finally credited my account so I dropped the complaint, but I told them about my bad experience with Wisesales. The fellow indicated that Wisesales had not even returned his calls from the AGs office. Don't do business with these Wisesales unless you like lots of headaches.

Thankfully I paid through Amazon and Amazon had my money reimbursed. I complained to Amazon about them being linked to Wisesales. It was a horrible process dealing with Wisesales trying to buy a walk behind brush cutter.

After my conversation with them and there don't give a s%!+ attitude, I canceled my order immediately called capital one who immediately pulled back payment. It's conditional for 60 day though you still have use of your money. They have a query and response process between themselves and wise sales. Of course they have no adequate response and on day 60 I got the message that the case was closed and my refund was permanent
I would think this is fraudulent sales practices and for those who spent time waiting for a refund, there was damaging fraud perpetrated against them. They didn't have access to there fund, loosing any interest that might have accrued as well as the fact that from the minute wise sales received payment, it was now in wise sales financial institution earning interest for those days. So even if you ultimately got your money back. It was still in their possession probably making interest for them. I don't know about class action suit but I think if enough of us file a complaint to the state attorney general office in what ever state they are licence in aswell as filing a complaint with the state licencing office they would possibly file a formal complaint which requires an investigation into fraudulent business practices. Also I wonder if there is any laws they break for perpetrating fraud over the internet. Well anyway... kudos to the guy who complained to the licals.

I went through the Cook County State Attorney's office Consumer Fraud Unit. I also filed a complaint with the FTC. That can be done online. The owner's name is Edward J. Zawilla. He lives in Hoffman Estates. I understand that their website is shut down. I'm still waiting for a refund I asked for in July. The Cook County State Attorny's office has directed Mr. Zawilla to send them a bank check or money order for my refund.

No. I would note that there is a second business selling generators located very close to wise sales. Based on their reviews on this site, they also appear to rip of customers. Wonder if the two business are run by the same people?
