on 12/7/19Easy play no sore fingers and small for wife and grandkids to play and I love to play it too.
My zager guitars play as easy as my taylor and i didn't think that was possible but i felt it the min I played my first chord. Maybe easier.
They make a parlor size and an even smaller travel size that probably would work.
As a long time player who started at 10 I would say Zager has a guitar that would mate up with his finger size. Just choose one of the smaller "scale" guitars they offer. Nothing beats a Zager.
Parlor size might be best qnd is 25% smaller and 38 in neck. Im 6'2" and its my only guitar. I generally play baritone ukulele but Zager makes guitar playing easier
He might want a parlor model as it's easier for a small person to play since it's a scaled down model
I think the ZAD 50 series neck width would work for him... the ease of play strings work great for my short fingers!
I have played for 52 years. This is a easy play guitar. It is easier than my Takamine. My fingers did hurt a little the first day, after 5 straight hours, but the cool thing was, the next day I grabbed it and started all over again. They did not hurt!
I purchased a Zager Parlor size mahogany. Its a great size for younger players. It has a full, rich tone for such a small instrument.
Not sure but, they make smaller guitars than mine. I would bet he could handle this one though.
They make parlor guitars that almost anyone can play
