I just had to post this after chatting with a "woman" for an hour. There was only one profile and when I reverse searched, it turned out to be a stolen image. When I told the scammer this, they blocked me.

This happens very often. The site is not worth paying for. Don't pay and don't contact people with no, or just one profile picture. There is 99% it is a scam. Always search the image online.

Stay away from.the site as a young women who put the age range she is interested in and still have men pushing 60 trying to talk to me! Majority of the guys young and old just want to use black women for sex and emotional abuse and if you refuse some even curse you out and. Call. You racial slurs. Most of these guys be old never married and no kids!

An absolute joke of a site, full of bogus profiles and useless features. The site is solely made to liberate your hard owned cash from your bank account, into the coffers of the site owners. By all means run a non paying account - it costs nothing and there is a (very, very) slim chance you might meet someone worthwhile - but whatever you do, don't purchase a subscription.

You might as well give your debit card and PIN number to a crackhead and shove them in the direction of the nearest dealer.

Subscribed for 2 months, 1 month for free. Subscription up in June. I might end it earlier. A guy got in contact with me he was creepy and decided to block him. Another I spoke to for a little while but it fizzled out. Not much has happened since then. So I can wait to cancel my subscription. Will not be venturing back here.

Thought I had finally met someone I could fall in love with, and maybe even settle down with. Take your time to get to know the person, and don't choose an individual solely based on looks and financial status.
I found a "devil in sheep's clothing", and I initially thought he could be the one, but boy was I wrong. I was swept off my feet by his charm, sense of humor, and the sweetest compliments one could ever receive. Should have known he was too good to be true. After flying halfway across the country to meet him, I was smitten by him, and everything started out great, but that would be very short-lived.
This "gentleman" picked me up from the airport, and we laugh and sang all the way to his home. I was enjoying my stay so much, that I stayed an extra 2 weeks because I was invited to his family reunion. That was a great time with his family camping out on the lake. When the weekend was over, and we returned to his home, "Mr. Hyde" made his first appearance! I knew he had a drinking problem, which he made me aware of from the beginning, but he also told me that he was a recovering alcoholic; so not true. It wasn't long before I noticed the drinking all day, how early he started, and what he was like when he was drunk. I quickly learned to keep to myself and speak only when spoken to, but that also meant, say nothing and be verbally and emotionally abused... daily! Why didn't I leave? All of my belongings were sent to his home, after he asked me to stay and move in. Little did I know, my fairytale quickly turned into a nightmare. I decided to Google this guy's name, and much to my surprise, his name instantly came up... with a picture of him in an orange jumpsuit! That's right! He was a convicted felon, charged with 'domestic terrorism', illegally possessing numerous firearms in his vehicle, speeding, and probation violations. Oh my God! I was with one of those guys who gave dating apps a scary and bad reputation. I did manage to escape him, but not before I was the subject of his drunken tirades, and threatening to kill me. After I left, we tried to be friends, but I would get lewd, drunken, rude and disrespectful texts. I hadn't talked to the guy in a while, but remained friends with his best friend and family members. Just recently, five days before Christmas 2021, he died from Covid. So to all of those who are looking to find love, companionship, a soulmate, or just a fling... be careful of what you wish for. Before you jump into a potential relationship, be smart. Err on the side of caution, and conduct your own background check! Again, be careful of what you wish for!

An associate at work told me she found her guy on this site, so I gave it a try. I had a horrible experience on this dating site. I paid only for one month because I knew if my person was on there, it would only take me one month to find him. Of course the one that I thought could be 'my person' showed up the day I joined. But within one week of texts, a couple of pics, and two abrupt phone calls I knew I was dealing with one or two people pretending to be one person, along with things that were not jiving. This man said he was a widower, wife passed three years ago and only has dated once in three years. Says that every Friday he goes home to nap, possible? He was a nice dresser and a handsome man. He told me he only had one close friend that was a classmate. Then his accent changed in both phone calls, he went from having a slight accent to not being able for me to understand what he was saying. The final straw was when he told me he was going to dinner with friends. The restaurant closes at 9pm, it's 8:15pm and he is still texting with me, sent a pic of his dinner attire. When I look up the restaurant directions from his location to the restaurant...it is a four and a half hour drive! That is when I said goodbye. Thank God it only took me 6 days to catch this fool. But then I met four more males (not men) the following week who were not who they said they were, and immediately closed their accounts. They all asked for additional pictures of me and now I'm sure they will be making fake profiles with my pics. If there men doing it to the women, you know there are women faking out the men. You don't know who is real and who is not. I closed my account before the 30-days was up.

Most men there are weird. Interested exploiting women, and play with people's emotions. They will tell you all the things you want to hear. Like a good marriage, children, life partner, tell you they are going to meet you, bla bla.
Upon chatting and chatting, you exchange contacts, then they start asking you to send them nudes, or some will be video calling you every now and then just to chatt because they are lonely not because they like you.
Then you always find the same people with very nicely written profiles, I even thought the site pays them to be there.

Anyway it's a learning process. If you join just don't allow your emotions to be part of it. You will get expectations for nothing.

I have been on this site for 13 years but only ever get messages from admin and con artists from Africa trying to cheat money out of me. Furthermore there are plenty of overweight, old and unattractive women looking to meet men half their age that are good looking and physically fit.As for the good looking ones they only want money.

I moved to the other side of the world thinking I found my soulmate only to find out it was all a scam this site should be taken down it ruined my life and almost made me commit suicide

Met a girl spoke to her for months sent her over 2k to the Philippines moved to the Philippines to be with her only to find out it was all a scam and she'd lied about everything smh wasted months fell into a horrible depression so bad I contemplated suicide this site should be taken down immediately honestly

Please stop feeding these crooks! I had better luck on J4Dating.com -girls from this site make a perfect wife material and I know this for a fact because I married one of them. Yes, I'm that happy man with a perfect trophy wife! :) My search for her wasn't easy. So I thought I might facilitate this task for someone by writing this review.
I also want "to let the world know" about AfroRomance massive scam. Everyone is fake there, absolutely all profiles are fake af. Don't touch it with a bargepole.
The site is run by local mafia. It's a big cash machine and giant money-draining scam system: girls, moderators, support team, sister sites, etc.

This site, frankly, is just a way to fleece money from punters. A large amount of profiles are fake - avoid like Nigel Farage.

The biggest problem with this site in my opinion is the people that run it. You can see a lot of bad reviews about this site, a lot about the customer service and they are true! It is run by people that don't seem to understand anything about good business and are control hungry. If you use any controls which you have PAID for that they don't want you to use you are punished, you are advised to 'take a break' rather than close your account if you want to and then when you decide to come back you are told that you have to wait 6 hours for reactivation, something done automatically by a reasonable, up to date site where you are a PAYING MEMBER! If once you have PAID you want to browse privately you have to be punished for not doing what they want by not being able to see who has viewed you, they say that this is 'fair' but this is actually something that you have PAID for.
If you contact customer services with a complaint they handle it in an untrained way, are rude, curt and unreasonable! If you close your account make sure that it has actually been deleted! I would not recommend this site to anyone of an age in which you are used to dealing with professional and reasonable people, it appears to be operated by immature, draconian, unprofessional individuals that are not interested in giving their customers value for money and desperate to appear right about everything regardless! Get ready for sudden positive reviews under this one...

I met a wonderful man years ago on this site we dated for awhile but then I eventually broke it off. I met a couple cute guys but the chemistry just wasn't there.

This site is worst and crawling with creepy men and fakes.

Older men think that they are entitled to have younger girlfriends. They don't look at age preferences on profiles. Younger women with age preferences on profiles don't want no creepy older men bothering them. Men want to date women half their age -- 20 to 35 + age difference. They want to use women for sex.

Men rather text, instead of using phones to call. Men write rude messages. They are also emotionally abusive to women playing mind games and using the site to pass on time.

Members don't have pictures on profile. Too many Separated(married) men on their profile.

I met a man off the site that seem okay. He showed his true colors treated me with disrespect. This site is a waste of time.
