“Horrible Customer Service & Return Policy”

Purchased a pair of Bose noise cancelling headphones from this company on 5/11/20.2 months later, this product does not work. I searched online and found that this is a known issue with this product. When I contacted the seller, they told me there isn't anything they can do bc the 30 day return period has ended. So essentially, I paid $300 for a brand new pair of headphones that the seller is unwilling to assist me with obtaining an exchange and/or repair. This is horrendous customer service and an even worse return policy. You can't sell faulty products!

I bought 2 pair of jeans from them through Walmart site and they were falsely advertised on sizing. Sizing was completely off. Contacted them and they ignored me. Had Walmart contact them and they still ignored me. They wait until the return period is over to contact you back and tell you they can't issue a return because of their policy. They are definitely a scam and their customer service is awful!

Several hours after I cancelled the purchase, they sent me a shipping confirmation email followed by "sorry, we cannot accept the cancellation due to already shipped item." when requested to return the item (still in the envelope), they send me an email saying that i can send it back on my own expense. This is their way of forcing me to keep the headphones. Based on the reviews they have, it seems that this is their way of making money. Will be contacting BBB and other entities to place a complaint.

I received confirmation that my order was accepted, then nothing. I looked up my order on their site and it was marked cancelled. I called and got a person who said that the item was out of stock and a refund was already issued. I asked why the website still showed it IN STOCK, and was told that they had no one to manage the web site so it was out of date. A search for reviews of the company show this has been going on widely for several years. Weeks later, no refund yet, and they won't answer their phones or return email or voicemail messages. Had to get PayPal to refund me.

I purchased a Chromebook for my Granddaughter for Christmas and what I got was a pile of trash that embarassed me when she opened it on Christmas day. It was dirty not even wiped down. They called it refurbished but I am sure they do not know what the word means. Nothing was done to it the power adapter was bent and would not go into the Chromebook. When I tried to contact them I received no reply. I had to contact Walmart and they called them so they would respond. That is all I got out of Walmart which tells me they do not care who sells on their website. If you do not want to be robbed stay away from this company. DO NOT USE THEM AT ALL.

Purchased a Tshirt from Walmart.com that was supplied by Altatac as the 3rd party vendor. When the shirt came, the printing/picture on the shirt that should be in the middle, is completely off center, way over on the right of the shirt. I called Walmart and was told that they were not accepting returns at that time because of the pandemic and to set the shirt aside and they would return it when they began accepting returns no matter how much time had gone by. When they began accepting returns, I tried to return the shirt to Walmart, but was then told that since it was supplied by Altatac, I would have to return the shirt to them directly by mail. I called Altatac to get a return shipping label and told them the entire story and they refused to return the shirt because it had been more than 30 days. I again explained that I had been trying to return the shirt since it arrived and only hadn't because of the pandemic and incorrect information I received, but they still refused. I even spoke to a supervisor who continued to stick to the script of "I'm sorry to hear about all of that, but there's nothing I can do because it's been more than 30 days." So despite the fact that they sold me a defective item, they refused to return a $15.00 shirt.

DO NOT! I repeat, DO NOT Order any products from Altatac! I'd give a zero star review If i could! They knowingly sell models with faulty parts, they will sell you a refurbished laptop that will fail on you in months, and they will do nothing about it. No refund, exchanges, or any sort of compensation for an upgrade. Their customer service is horrible, and they do not care to help you in any way. Their company is a scam, Don't buy any products from them. (best bet is to buy on Amazon, for the same price and purchase asurion insurance with it.)

Bought my daughter a camera for Christmas on black Friday. Opened it on Christmas and it was broken. They said I had 30days to return it which would be Dec 23rd. I'm now stuck with a broken camera because they have no Christmas return policy. Worst company ever and awful customer service. How can Wal-Mart, Amazon, and eBay back you with a 1 star review rating? You're complete trash.

Update: I contacted Walmart directly. They were unable to contact Altatac so issued me a refund. Walmart were very good to deal with so full credit to them.

Purchased a Jolt Duo 360 camera from them via Walmart. Arrived dead on arrival. Website in user manual redirects to unrelated site and Android app crashes when trying to open.
Sent them two messages via the Walmart website... no reply. Messaged them directly via their own website... no reply.
Worst shopping experience in memory.

Please be careful with Altatac. I ordered from them via 3rd party and never received my package. They pretend they did an investigation, concluded the investigation and never contacted me. They denied my claim and they were the only people who knew it was denied. They had absolutely no concerns about me not getting my package. They got my money, lied and gave me the run around for 2 months. To avoid being ripped off and frustrated, stay away. The worst customer service I ever encountered.

I bought a backpack and it doesn't meet my expectation at all. When I was about to return it, they told me that they will charge me the return label and the restocking fee, although I didn't open it. Really respectably way in dealing with consumers.

Ordered a gps unit for my car. Paid extra for shipping so it would be delivered 2 days before I took my trip. Was told it was shipped. Day that it was supposed to be delivered didn't show up. Called altatac customer service. They gave me the run around and blamed the post office. Said they would refund my money in 5 to 7 days. And I could purchase another one that was almost $30 more than the one I first purchased and it wasn't even new like the one I first ordered. It was refurbashed. If they would have given me notice that it was lost the day after I ordered it I could have gotten another one somewhere else before my trip. Terrible customer service. Will never have anything to do with them again.

I purchased a Macbook Pro refurbished for my daughter because she is going to college, anyways long story short... this product is not refurbished in any way... it is completely used and in awful condition. Has dents and a crap ton of scratches plus the charging cable and adapter are filthy, you would think they'd atleast clean it before shipping. I am waiting for a response because I either want a truly REFURBISHED product or my money back.

Ordered new product, received harshly used product. Sent it back and received nothing in return. They have $250 of mine for 4 months now. These people are criminals and Walmart is their enabler.
I have never read so many bad reviews about a company. How do they continue to operate. Are there not laws? Why does Walmart continue to partner with them and drag their name down like this. I will not ever go to Walmart again. They treated me like a criminal and they gave this Krimey Vendor the benefit of the doubt.

This outfit never communicates they ignore your messages how can they stay in business sold me a baby monitoring camera defective won't work Shame on you Walmart for dealing with a rotten outfit.

I bought an Ipod touch from them for my son's birthday. We gave it to him a few weeks later and it developed a 'hole' in the screen that has migrated and has made the Ipod unusable. They only gave us a 30 day return policy even for a defective product. I was very clear that he has only used it for 2 weeks and its already unusable and that we were sold a defective product. We are 38 days after the product was delivered and they DON'T CARE! Absolutely horrible service and no desire to stand behind the fact that a defective product was sold. DON'T DO BUSINESS WITH THEM!

Yes I do, I bought a refurbished RCA tablet... it did not even turn on at all. Charged it & still not working. I have sent numerous emails to *******@Altatac to get an RMA# and no one has responded.

I ordered a refurbished MacBook Pro and a GoPro from Walmart on 12/11, and specified the shipping that would have it here by 12/23 as a Christmas gift for my daughter. On 12/22 I got an email saying that delivery was actually going to be on 12/27.

Not sure if ya picked up on this, but that's AFTER Christmas.

As a result, I and my wife were forced to go to BestBuy and pay nearly $1,000 for a MacBook Air so that my daughter would have her gift to open on Christmas Day (we were only able to do this due to receiving a very generous Christmas gift from my parents in the mail the day before).

The package arrived on 12/28. I sent an email to customer service to get an RMA... no response. Sent another one a couple of days later... no response. Called the customer service number, and was instructed to leave a voice mail. Never got a call back. Called the customer service number again, was told to leave a voice mail, then it hung up. Tried again a couple of times thinking it might have been something with the phone (I have poor cell reception), but the same each time.

Finally opened the package thinking that I might as well make the best of it and use it as my own laptop. When I opened it there were a couple of small dents in the case and a disgusting orange scunge on the touch pad. It started up okay, but I'm still waiting to see if it holds a charge... not optimistic, since it had absolutely zero when I took it out of the box.

Do not... repeat, DO NOT... buy anything from Altatac. They are clearly shady, fly-by-night operators. To be honest, I could have gotten much the same effect by taking that money and setting on fire in my driveway.

Actually, that would have at least been entertaining.

I bought a few items from them, and I noticed some products they sell might not be authenticated. Because I compared with real thing I bought locally, and they have differences. Therefore buyer be aware.

I bought an iPad Air2 through Rakuten with Altatac being the supplier. Turns out the iPad was stolen, though that didn't come to light right away, but only when I updated the s/w. Altatac denied it until the BBB reached out to them after I contacted the BBB. Altatac sent me an RMA to return the stolen iPad they sold to me claiming that they would refund me.

Turns out that after I sent them the iPad and they received it, they lied to me and won't refund me after all. They claim that they're going to send the iPad back, but let's not hold our breath on that one - they're track record seems to indicate otherwise. Even if they did return it, what good would it do me? It's still a stolen iPad that they sold to me!

If you see that Altatac is the seller, whether it be through Rakuten or Walmart, save your self time, aggravation, gray hair, and your money. You'd have a better chance buying your products off Craig's list or out of someone's trunk.
