Absolutely the worst customer service I've ever experienced! They drug me through the entire process, spent over $650 for an appraisal, knew ahead of time what my income look like, but still turn me down in the end. But not until after eight weeks of trying to get a hold of somebody, and you never can get a hold of anybody, you can only send emails back-and-forth, because when you call they do not receive calls in the loan department, so you are leaving messages, of which I had eight of them never returned. Absolutely ridiculous! I will never use them again after I pay off this loan!
Everyone, please be careful when dealing with Andrews Federal Credit Union. They were just bought out by Dovenmuehle. Who by the way have a one star rating out of 5 online. I have a short sale, actually the only part of the deal that is short is the second trust. In the last few weeks they got bought out and the loan is serviced by Dovenmuehle. Total unresponsiveness, promising to get the approval letter to me for weeks. Passing the buck back and forth between both companies. I am so fed up. We were approved for the short sale, just need the official letter. No one wants to take responsibility to give it. I think they want to see this home go into foreclosure!

In the span of 3 months, I've personally gone into the branch located at 5711 Allentown Road, Suitland, Maryland. On BOTH occasions, I received EXCELLENT customer service. In September 2022, Loan Officer Darius Matthew was well versed, knowledgeable, and extremely courteous and sensitive all of my concerns while assisting me with my loan. When I returned to the bank on December 30,2022, I received the same outstanding customer service by Teller, Antoinette Rawlings. On that day, I had to forego my usual indifferent impression of the younger generation and realize that SOME have grasped the concept of great customer service and professionalism. Kudos and Respect to Ms. Rawlings and Mr. Matthews…job well done!
