“An Honest Car Dealership”

Lynne R.
8/18/15

After much searching we bought our truck from Auto Nation Weston, Fl Besides being cheaper than other dealers there was no pressure. Yes, from a car salesman! Everything was extremely smooth and was even offered a lower interest rate than originally thought. It was almost closing time and the service department was closed. Mitch our remarkable salesperson offered to drive 1/2 hr to our house the next day to drop the floor mats off

“If I Could Give a "0" I Would!”

Mary B.
10/19/22

My husband and I "thought" we bought a car on Thursday night. There was minor repair needed, we signed the papers and walked out. Saturday morning we received a call that the repair requires a part to be ordered and that it would be ready Tuesday. Late Tuesday afternoon we called, we received no return call, so my husband drove to the dealer. Come to find out, they sold the car on Monday. So unethical! No consideration, so unprofessional! Avoid this dealer!

Verified purchase

This site is a scam site. It has been a month since I ordered my part and it still says the status is "in progress" on my order. However, they have charged my credit card and they do not respond to e-mails or phone calls. I even tried canceling the order since they obviously can't fulfill it, I have still heard nothing. I have filed a dispute with my credit card company. If you are trying to figure out this company's phone number you can call them at 1 - 8 8 8 - 4 2 3 - 1 6 6 4.

Terrible customer service and poor communication skills.
Eight days after my vehicle purchase, their Finance Department discovered a $5000.00 error they made and called to collect on it. I paid without any hesitation, since it was the right thing to do and then received an email the day after I paid from their Finance Manager (Mikail) to collect again!
I've since had other questions and issues with my vehicle and left various messages for different staff members, to never receive a return call.
When finally speaking with the Sales Manager (Tommy), I reminded him that I had given them a 100% customer satisfaction review (that not only Auto Nation coaxed me on), but their employees bribed me with gifts. I still had other surveys waiting to be completed that I would fill out honestly & would report them to higher management; he didn't seem concerned.
It truly wasn't worth my time or money saved to drive across state lines for the struggles and conflicts I've endured with my vehicle purchase from Auto Nation of Mobile. Their lies and false promises were not worth the few dollars I saved.

This review is about Autonation corporation, not this particular
Dealership Location. Autonation corporation is forcing all their Florida dealerships to charge a $199 optional fee on every sale. Please refuse this fee and make sure it is not written on your purchase agreement in any way/shape/or form. They already charge you a $995 dealer fee which includes documentation! They are charging an additional $199 for electronic filing. They use a third-party company to handle title transfers/tag transfers/documentation/etc. That third-party company only charges Autonation $76 and then Autonation gets a "kickback check" for $123 on every single deal as per third party company representative. They've been doing this since 2004! Since it is optional, make sure they do not charge you for this fee. Do not let "Any" Autonation dealership put this fee on your buyers order/purchase agreement. As soon as you see it, tell them to remove it and don't let them just take it off the top line, make sure it is not written anywhere. Do not initial the section that states that you're OK with that fee! Absolutely not! Decline immediately! Autonation corporation are thugs and thieves. If any Autonation dealership tries to charge you this fee, regardless of you telling them you are refusing to pay for it, reach out to Jill Bilanchone@ *******447 "Vice president of Autonation". Let her know you are refusing to pay that ridiculous "optional fee" and the dealership is still trying to charge you for it. Let her know Frank sent you. We are besties 😂. Also reach out to the Southeast Florida BBB. There you could post a review and begin an investigation. Also, reach out to the FTC, Florida's consumer, protection department, State, attorneys, office, and the local DMV in the county where the dealership is located.

I bought a car from them and before I made my 6th payment on it, it broke down. Took it to a repair shop...$10,500 in repairs on a car that's sales price was $13,100 but they then convinced me to buy the "warranty" that does not cover s@#t! It will pay for the turbo but that is it. Wrong brake pads put on the front, they put both of the inside pads on one side of the rear and the outside pads on the other side, drive belt cracked, water pump cracked, major oil leaks, warped tires due to brakes. The right thing for them to do is buy this piece of s@#t back from me for every penny I have spent so I can go to a reputable dealership and buy a descent car! Do not buy from them or any auto nation!

After many days of searching for the Mercedes we wanted we found it at Waco AutoNation. Everything was to our liking except for a couple broken child seat covers in the back seat. We had to fight extremely hard to get them to agree to fix it free. I thought it was a little bit ridiculous since we were purchasing an $80k car the least they could do was fix a $20 part. We took the car and waited for the parts and our plates to come in. After over a month we got the call to come in and replace the parts. I figured they would also put on the new plates. They said we are still waiting for the plates. I told them it has been almost 2 mos how can they still be waiting on the plates. The finance guy tried to give us some bull$#*! about how this is normal and happens all the time. They were still waiting on the title and he didnt know when we would get the plates. After some heated conversation the manager stepped in and was very appologetic and assured us he would get everything sorted and call us back on Monday. That never happened and I ended up calling him back on wed. He said we have everything at our other location and it is being sent to us. He will overnight us the plates the following week and we will have them by Thursday. That was last week. I tried to call the manager twice and also text his personal phone and still no response. I honestly do not remember the last time I have dealt with such unprofessional people or company. I will be telling everyone I can that they should never purchase a vehicle from this place. Absolutely ridiculous to spend so much money to be treated like this. Still to this day no one has even walked through the car with us to show us how to use all the functions. I had to call Mercedes Me to get my account set up and have been youtubing how to use all the functions. To be honest If I was Mercedes I would not allow my cars to be sold here it only makes them look cheap and second rate.

AutoNation will screw you out of money every chance they get. Do not work at this place, especially in Columbus, GA. They are a bunch of liars and crooks.

Not all AutoNation dealers seem to be the same. I thought they would be like Carmax, but truly each dealership(I dealt with 2) were completely different. I think in the long run, I would not recommend AutoNation unless you have wonderful credit and a great down payment. But if you do have those things, maybe you wouldn't be looking at older, high mileage cars.
