A family emergency pulled me away from the off-load of the rest of my belongings in to a storage unit. The crew had very clear instructions on the off-load and they'd done a great job up until then so I had no reason not to think they could complete a simple job of unloading in to a storage unit. I returned within the hour and they were complete. I found boxes stacked on top of boxes clearly marked "fragile;" boxes clearly marked to be placed in the front of the unit placed in the very back; and a wall of very heavy furniture in the middle of the unit preventing me from getting to the back of my storage unless I hire help. Behind that wall I'm assuming are items required for my job. I asked the company for $125 refund to help pay for those items, which was refused. On a $3500 move, this is a small request. So disappointing. Management was not responsive until I went to the corporate office, which still denied my request but at least I finally got an answer. Beware.
