I would never order from this company! I order Boston oiled leather and what I received was a much cheaper vegan leather shoe! I could return them and maybe get my money back upon inspection. Such a joke for the price of the shoe! They do not stand behind anything!

A little over a year ago I purchased the Mayari Oiled Leather sandals. I happily wore them until just two months back when the strap came out from under the inner sole. I would assume that since Birkenstock's prices are so high, that would equate to a good, long lasting quality product. But I was wrong. After learning that Birkenstock does not offer ANY kind of warranty on their products, I was shocked. I also recently learnt that Birkenstock had stopped suppling products to Canadian retailers a while back and since then their customer service has went to $#*!! Previous to that, Birkenstock had a great warranty and the suppliers who had sold Birkenstock products in their stores said that whenever there was an issue, they would just ship the shoes out to get fixed at no cost to the consumer! So what was I to do? I ending up bringing them to a cobbler where I was further shocked to learn that the cobbler had already received not one, two, but three of the EXACT same pair of Mayari Oiled Leather sandals as mine, that day, with the same issue! Some hadn't even been worn as much as I had worn mine! It's a shame that such a reputable company has gone to $#*!. I unfortunately will no longer support them like most of my friends have already done.

Paid $90 for $5 shoes! Terrible quality and when you try to "return" them as their site says you have the option to do, you get no response. Well actually I got 1 email in reply to my complaint. It says they provide good quality shoes and it takes a long time to process a return and the banks are difficult? What? I paid through a pay service called "reallypay" and I checked into their reviews (what was I thinking should have checked reviews before I waster $90!) and many people tried dealing with reallypay and it's just as bad. Likely a family member of birkenstockcanada.com. Many reviewers didn't get their $ back after shipping their product to return so I won't bother. I'll wear my $90 sandals for a day or two till they fall apart which I'm certain they will since you can pull the straps away from the sole with little pressure and the glue starts to peel away!
My fault... buyer beware of cheap immitations. I did think for $90 it would be decent quality but I got scammed.

Really got scammed, shoes came from China smelling like petrochemicals and in no box and totally squished and fake Birks. Paid 85 dollars for shoes that most likely cost 5 bucks, contacted the company only to get a computer response saying they sell authentic Birks in proper packaging. So how did my made in German (should say Germany) shoes come from China, when I went to return the damaged parcel the address is in Chinese and of course no one at the post office can figure it out. Contacted the Canadian distributor for Birkenstocks and they forwarded my info to the RCMP anti-counterfeit division who then contacted me. Do not buy from this site!

I ordered a pair of birkenstocks from what I thought to be an authentic Canadian website. My order confirmation came attached with a contact of " sitecomplaint.com" should you have any problem with your order. Red flag, so I attempt to cancel my order. Despite several attempts to cancel before shipment, they delay any contact. Received my IMITATION shoes from china. Claimed they had been out of the office at a dragon boat festival so they couldn't stop shipment. Claim I have opened a charge back with my bank which I did not, and until I cancel it, I will not receive a refund. I have plenty of time to waste to cause some discomfort for this scam, so contact www.1c3/default. Aspx and dept of online security in Beijing.
