This site drop ships from over priced sub standard Asian vendors - items received were very expensive and extremely cheap and ugly. Nothing like listed. Company refused to refund - will never purchase from them again

I recently ordered a very expensive dog bed from the website www.$#*! newyork.com
Surely, you think you are ordering from a New York based line for your beloved pet, and in my case, a high end mini poodle who totally deserves a $500+ bed...
However, after placing the order online... wanting this bed for my little guy so badly... saving until Christmas to splurge on him... and only him... as the "Made in Italy" totally sold me... I splurged. I was so excited and couldn't wait for it to arrive. Surely, my expectations were not to receive a drop shipment from KOREA... so when a smaller than expected box arrived from KOREA... I opened it and realized it was the dog bed I ordered from www.$#*! newyork.com.
What a pathetic piece of crap! I could have made this in home EC class in high school... and for this much money? Are you kidding me? And I am to return this to Korea? OMG.
A) people should know this company is NOT based in NYC
B) beware that perhaps your product you order is NOT high end as represented online... but made in China or Korea... and you are just getting ripped off by a name that sums up exactly what this company is...$#*!

Wonderful site. Fast shipping, great items and always an instant email from customer service if they are out of stock on something, or you have a question.

I ordered a collar, leash and a small sized collar attachment. I was sent a large attachment. I requested a return and they kept saying I could return the attachment. Well, everything was ordered as a set at 1 price, so everything went back in the box. I specifically ordered this for the attachment and had no use for the collar ad leash alone. I sent tracking number and the receipt from shipping costs and received a follow up email saying I'm responsible for return shipping. I don't think so. I shouldn't be out a single penny from this transaction. Ashley did call, but I wanted to keep communications through email. She was very combative and not someone I'd ever want to deal with again. In the end, I filed a chargeback claim and was fully reimbursed, but it came at a cost of many more nasty voicemails from Ashley.
