UPDATE 6/9: For the love of all that is holy, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE do your research! There are cheaper companies out there. These people are a SCAM! I FINALLY got rid of Brinks and let me tell you, it was a nightmare of a process. I have never been so unhappy with companies as I am with these two. All those 5-star ratings on google have got to be a joke, because they really didn't look after my interests, only their own.

ORIGINAL REVIEW: When I first bought my house, I was contacted by the very charismatic salesman regarding an alarm system. I was bamboozled into a 3 year contract, at $60+ a month. I needed service after a year, and the THIRD defective WiFi controlled thermostat, and was informed that now Brinks is in charge of service calls now, and they are $50 per visit, IF you pay a monthly fee. If not, you get to break the bank paying an hourly fee. To cancel the service, I'd have to pay the remaining months.
