“Garbage trash”

Don H.

I travel for work and this company is destroying my Mail box. I come home after being on the road for several weeks with a mailbox full of this trash! I have tried a million times to contact them and they won't stop sending the garbage mail. It's so bad that my personal mail is getting destroyed. I blame this trash company and the post office for the mess. Buyers edge is a disgrace and they are adding to the increase in trash and junk Mail. They should be forced out of business by some environmental group for the amount of waste they contribute. Can't express it enough they absolutely suck'

Forget going to home depot and paying full price with sales tax, I bought much of my appliances from buyeredge and never looked back. They should be giving me a referral fee for the friends I have sent over to their website. Calling them on the phone I think is the best way to order from them as I can't trust a website only when spending this type of money.

We purchased 4 samsung appliances (3.6K) from BE in late oct 2010. Upon unboxing the units we noticed the dishwasher was severely damaged (bent frame). We contacted BE several times (sales person, customer service, claims dept. etc.) for a replacement unit via email and phone. They picked up the damaged dishwater and 2 months later have not received the replacement. They refuse to reply in any way, shape, or form. We are currently filing a claim with Amex and have contact samsung USA to complain. Do not purchase anything from this unscrupulous company.

BuyersEdge is the worst online service ever. We ordered a gas range, the stove arrived on time but it was the wrong stove. Customer service was "very sorry" but it would be another week for another one. When that day came the stove did not. Once again they were "very sorry" but it would be another week. Now three weeks later the stove arrived, in an opened box and damaged. BuyersEdge was again "very sorry" but now we had no stove for thanksgiving. We cancelled the order and went elsewhere and had the stove in three days. If you are debating on uses this company, my advise is to RUN away.

We ordered an expensive refrigerator. After waiting 23 days for delivery, we contacted them to learn our model was out of stock. They did not bother to contact us but did charge our credit card for an item they never shipped. We are in dispute through the credit card company to get out money back.

DO NOT BUY THROUGH THIS COMPANY IF YOU HAVE ANY OTHER OPTION, ESPECIALLY IF YOU WANT YOUR PRODUCT TO BE DELIVERED WITHIN THE NEXT 6 WEEKS! THEY LIE.
You will save yourself a world of frustration by going elsewhere.

I ordered a small refrigerator through Buyer's Edge (BE) on 1/10 to replace my broken one. The refrigerator arrived DOA (broken wire on back). I called BE customer service and first thing, I was told they can only exchange it, so I gave the CSR my info and was told I'd be contacted by the delivery company to schedule pickup in 1-2 days. I waited 3-4 days for the call and finally I called them to schedule, only they never received the order to pick it up. I called BE and they apologized and said they'd make arrangements and call me back in an hour... nothing. After multiple phone calls and promises, I finally got the broken unit picked up... and I waited. On 2/17, more than a month after giving them $400 of my hard earned money, I called BE again and they apologized, but claimed they never heard from the delivery company that the unit had been picked up. She confirmed pick up and claimed she placed the order for the replacement unit and promised me that it would ship the next day (Fri.) or the following Mon. Tuesday arrived and I had no shipping confirmation, so I called BE again and the CSR assured me the order had been placed and is being processed - 'just hold for a minute and I'll get you a tracking number.' I was on hold for a few minutes before the CSR returned with my tracking number, so I went straight to the delivery company's website to track the package and it looked like the order had been placed that same day. I called the delivery company to try to schedule my delivery, but the CSR said that they hadn't received the confirmation that the unit was available in the warehouse. I asked if there was any way to expedite that since the order was placed last Thursday, and she responded that "it looks like they are entering the order right now." It is now, 2/22 and I still have no refrigerator, but they promise that it will ship soon…yeah, right.

I will never purchase anything from Buyer's Edge, ever again, and if you're smart, neither will you.

I bought a plasma TV on October 8th. The TV was listed as "in-stock" and delivery was promised in 7-10 days, although, since it was only traveling 250 miles, it would "probably arrive sooner." Granted I ordered the TV late in the day on Friday, but it didn't get shipped until the following Wednesday. Twelve days later the TV arrived with a smashed screen. I certainly don't blame anyone for this; these things happen. However, Buyer's Edge (aka LCDTVs.com and Butterfly Photo) promised to have a replacement shipped the following day. This was on a Wednesday. On Thursday, they promised it would go out on Friday. On Friday, they promised it would go out on Monday. At 5pm on Monday I finally canceled the order, as it had still not gone out. The part that irks me most are not the delays, but the outright lying. When you're dealing with an online site, honesty is paramount.

Ordered a frigidaire gas range from buyersedge.com. Called and specifically asked about finish (silver mist vs. stainless steel). Was assured by Victor in customer service that silver mist was stainless steel. The product arrived and not only is the color a painted finish that does not match the rest of the appliances but it does not match the picture of the product online. The product that arrived at my home is simply not as it was described on the website and by their customer service. The supervisor in customer service, Danny, was terribly rude to me, refused to do anything but would check into the recording of my phone call with the customer service because he didn't believe me. Conveniently their recording system wasn't working and Danny will not return my calls. To top it off the customer service department is closed when their own recording states it should be open -- in other words good luck getting a hold of customer service if you need it.

The free trial membership offer is a SCAM. They tell you they will send you a $50 VISA giftcard just for signing up, even if you cancel. Well, three forms and several months later, I haven't received anything except a bunch of forms in the mail to fill out to REGISTER for a GIFTCARD REGISTRATION FORM?!?!?! Why do I need to register for a registration form, after the original form I sent back is MORE than enough information to send me my giftcard? PLUS, now they say it's only going to be a $25 giftcard (instead of a $50 giftcard as promised) and along with the $25 giftcard they will send me information on how to obtain my other $25 giftcard. It's like they are overcomplicating it so people will just give up. I swear I will send back 50 forms if I have to just to piss these people off and make them send me what they promised. I don't care if I have to spend more than the giftcard's worth in envelopes and postage (don't think for a minute any of these forms come with self-addressed envelopes, much less self-addressed STAMPED envelopes!). This is a ridiculous SCAM and nothing more.
