If I could roll back time would not ever set foot in this CAS Coquitlam store. Now I am paying back for that error with nothing but grief and headache. The sales guys appear to be helpful but it's a move product and doesn't worry after that. Service is a joke at best, and that's being kind, save you money and frustration on a better place. If you want peace of mind and any assistance with any issues afterward save yourself the time and money and go somewhere else.

This company is a joke! I ordered a dryer and agreed to get it picked up in a local store of them. First of all they did not inform about any time when the pickup is going to happen and second, later they informed me I can pick it up in a different than agreed store. When asked them to compensate their mistake and to cover the delivery fee to home they refused - said refund or delivery to another local store. This is not acceptable customer service and they merit zero clients.

You only get a call center. They don't seem to be able to help. You cannot get in touch with a manager what so ever. Do not order from this company. It's bad... very bad.

Friend of mine warned me about this company before I bought from CAS, didn't listen, regret after. This company doesn't manufacture appliances but service. However, customer service is worst one ever, very bad experience. Never go back again. Don't ever recommend!

Used them to buy fridge and stove never got a invoice but charged my cc. Needed to call them about when the delivery guys were here but was on hold so long the delivery guys (riverbend movers) left. And no appliances left finally got ahold of salesman he said would call me back a manager finally called back said nothing he could do for me, want to cancel my order said would have to charge 25% restocking. Guess I will go the court route.

Avoid buying anything from this company, they will knowingly sell you broken appliances and then laugh at you when you try to return or exchange it. I will never buy anything from this company again, the headache and hassle of dealing with them was the worst feeling i have ever had when buying anything in my life. Be warned that you will regret dealing with them.

I never write reviews but I totally have to understand these circumstances. My parents are both over 80 and purchased a few appliances but the oven never got installed until this morning from my bf. The oven looked used or refurbished for sure. There is 3 major scratches underneath the glass part of the oven ( not on the top). You would think they would have no problem fixing it or giving my elderly parents a new oven or even just the side that's scratched which is not asking ally considering they literally just got it 2 days ago an never used it. Customer service sent me to Lg and Lg told me it's the sellers issue and we got nothing. After spending about 2300$( for my parents that are retired) which is a lot, we got nothing.

I bought counter top and washing machine. Both appliances are malfunction and missing parts. Even after warranties, neither they return not swap it. Extremely disappointing. It's a fraud company. I wouldn't recommend any one to and waste money in third class private company

The WORST customer service I have ever experienced. We have been waiting on a fridge we ordered in January, with an expected delivery of February now. When I called to see what else could be done the customer service rep: Vishnee (I got her name) repeatedly laughed at me and said I was out of luck and would have to wait. The dishwasher was supposed to be delivered for the past three weeks which we have taken off from work but then the tracking goes away and nothing comes. SAVE YOUR MONEY, take it literally anywhere else.

Tip for consumers:
My advice would be to take your money ANYWHERE else. They have done nothing to help us and we have had to contact them multiple times because the person on our case has left the company (i dont blame them) twice. There is zero chance they will reach out and try to make something work. They have NO value for their customers, even after we spent $20,000.

My order return is an ongoing disaster with CAS. I purchased a stove. It arrived (eventually). I didn't like it. They won't return it. They told me that an LG service person had reported that the stove was fine. But no LG person has ever come to my house or seen the stove. Six months later CAS continues to lie and evade about this stove. Worst - and most expensive - customer experience of my life. RUN, do not walk, away from CAS. Do not give this corrupt and irresponsible company your business. I've given them one star only because there's no option for zero stars.

It's simple: Don't purchase from CAS.

Bought a new washer and dryer which were delivered and installed promptly. Washer began spilling water on the floor. Contacted CAS who ignore the email then when sales person replied, stated we have to contact the manufacturer. We did, two weeks later a technician came to the house and diagnosed that the washer was delivered broken with a burnt out motor. We contacted CAS who did not answer the question about quality control testing and refused to replace the unit and insisted we go through the manufacturer who stated it will take three weeks minimum to get, deliver and install a new motor. Meanwhile, we are without a washing machine for 7 weeks.

Purchased a floor model high end LG washer, pedestal washer and dryer and pedestal. CAS failed to deliver the connection hoses and enough t-clip retainers. Called customer service asking for parts. Customer service said it was my fault for failing to inspect the machines before delivery. I did inspect (took photos) and the salesperson Gary G promised that all hoses and connections were included. Eventually Gary G provided some but not all hoses and clips but I still cannot connect pedestal washer to the drain (LG has no hoses in stock!) The pedestal is now a brick. Very poor customer service. Do not shop here.

Tip for consumers:
Use CAS as a price point through which the likes of Home Depot will match and beat the price.

Extremely Disappointed Customer:

My recent experience at the Regina 'Canada Appliance Source' was appalling on several levels. Before purchase of a dishwasher and refrigerator, I declared that the available for pickup date was imperative because I will be working away from home. I had both the salesperson and manager confirm the expected date prior to purchasing. When the day comes for me to pickup the appliances, not only was I not notified of any delay, but the appliances were still sitting in their warehouse... not even loaded on a truck or processed.
Upon cancellation of my order, due to the fact that they failed to meet the specified stipulations, I was told that the refund of the deposit would take 2 to 3 business days to process, and that the sales team present did not have the authority to deal with the refund, no manager was appointed for the vacationing store manager.

I would have respectfully walked away from the deal without posting any review had they returned my money from the deposit so I could make the necessary purchase from a competitor while there are still boxing week sales on, but that didn't happen and I am just left hoping I don't have to take further action to get my refund.

Tip for consumers:
They are quick to take and hold a deposit, but they are ridiculous to deal with to have a deposit returned due to their own incompetence.

CanadianAppliance.ca offered all inclusive attractive price included delivery (to a postal code) and taxes. The price suddenly increased once all data from customer was collected. Had to cancel the order. Either unfair business practice or some new way of getting prospect customer data - watch out or stay away...

Stay away. Return is supercomplecated.
They sold me an open box item in a box claiming it was brand new. When I opened at home, I saw dirty marks and repackaged items. You cant take it back like in any other normal store, thay make process very difficult. I will never go back.

Our experience with sales was underwhelming but fine.
It was delivery and then attempting to deal with CAS and the delivery company after that has been entirely frustrating and a run around which close to 2 months later has still not been addressed.
In the process of our new fridge being brought in a tile on our kitchen floor was cracked and the wood transition piece damaged/chipped.
While upstairs I heard a crash and the two guys talking loudly to one another (I could not understand what they were saying as they were speaking in a language other than English). I went downstairs to investigate. I checked the floor in the hallway and the walls. I should have asked about the crash sound and where exactly they were when it occurred. The fridge was left in the kitchen just in front of the spot where it would later be pushed into. I was told to leave it unplugged and sitting as is for 1 hour. I was asked to sign the form saying that the delivery occurred and I was satisfied. I held off briefly and did an inspection of the fridge. I was looking for any potential dents or dings as the sound I heard had me worried there might be damage somewhere. While inspecting the delivery guy once again approached me with the form asking me to sign. I felt rushed and having not found any damage to the fridge in the few minutes I was provided I signed after commenting the fridge looks fine.
After the hour was up I plugged in the fridge and pushed it in to its correct spot which then uncovered the cracked tile and damaged transition. I immediately called a provided contact and made a claim which included pictures of the damage.
I was then informed to expect a follow up call in 3-5 days. Over a week later I finally got a call. It was the most insensitive, unprofessional and rude phone call I have even gotten. A loose summary basically went along the lines of stating did I remember signing a form and that he was willing to email it to me (which he never did) and that he wanted to help me but that his hands were tied bc I signed this form saying that there was no damage. I communicated that I had heard a crash and had a worry to which he was condescending and said something along the lines of yeah but you signed the form. I communicated that I was unable to see any damage prior to signing and felt pressured to sign so the guys could carry on. He said I could have taken as long as I liked/needed and again communicated his hands were tied and he couldn't help me. At this point I was becoming defensive and angry. He showed no compassion or interest in considering that the damage was done by the delivery guy and in a real $#*! move tried to give his clearly scripted sign off which was not fitting for the exchange that we had had. Nothing this person said or did qualifies as customer service in my eyes and certainly was not helpful in any way. Actually, I cannot think of another equal or more infuriating experience/interaction.
A day later I emailed back asking for another follow up as I couldn't remember if I had spoken to the fridge being on top of the damage as the person who had called me had no interest in asking questions and even less interest in anything I had to say which left me flustered.
I have since called 3 times and emailed twice. During the phone calls I asked for a manager and was told "CAS does not have a manager" and have been unable to speak to anyone higher than customer service. Customer service has not been able to address my concern to date.
On my most recent call I was told to email again requesting a written response. I did and have still not received an email or phone call. This was close to 3 weeks ago.
Our fridge was delivered in August.
Despite loving the fridge we will not be considering CAS for our upcoming dishwasher and stove purchase. In fact we will be tell friends and family to also be cautious in choosing a company where the customer service has been entirely unhelpful and giving us the run around.
While the delivery was another company it was arranged by CAS and therefor I feel they have an obligation to either help hold them accountable or step up to fix the mistake made.

Horrible customer and return service.

They delivered the washing machine on Dec 21,2022.
The delivery men dropped the washing machine on the floor and damaged the laminate flooring. The leg of the washing machine broke off from the impact. I called the service and asked to replace the washing machine. It's been 2 weeks and they still haven't replaced the washing machine. They say that the return department does not have a phone number and I need to write letters to them. I wrote them one letter and was waiting 2 days for a response. They answered my letter, asking me to send one photo first. I sent and I was waiting for a response again for 2 days. Then they wrote that they would replace the broken leg. I replied that I do not need a replacement leg, I ask you to replace the washing machine. Again I wait 2 days for a response. They wrote that I need to send more photos. Another 2 days of waiting. I call the service, and there is only one answer: the return department will contact you within 2 days...

Today is Jan 5,2023: Still waiting for the replacement :(

My brand new high-end range was delivered and it didn't work when I tried to use it for the first time just hours later. Reported it to the store right away. They wouldn't take it back or exchange it. Told me the manufacturer had to deal with it even though the store has a 7 day refund/exchange policy. Yeah the policy is they take no responsibility for anything no matter what because all new appliances come with a 1 year warranty and the store says it's up to the manufacturer to decide what THEY do. Yes, you read that right. You buy the appliance from the store and they claim to have a warranty/exchange policy which you'd think is in addition to the manufacturer's warranty. Usually that's the way it works everywhere else. It's kind of an insurance policy that the seller is going to deliver a working appliance that will last at least 7 days or the store will make it right. NOPE NOT WITH THEM. Stay away from this place, shop at more reputable stores.

Tip for consumers:
Make sure the store will come and retrieve the appliance if it doesn’t work when it’s delivered or stops working within a few days. Don’t rely on the store just saying they have a Return/Refund Policy. Go into the reviews before you buy. You have to be dealing with a company that deals with it’s customers in good faith.

Worse experience we have ever had. Stay away. After waiting numerous months with no sign of getting our Fridge/Freezer pair, we got notification that the freezer was available. And then it was gone again. We contacted and was told we had to pay the remaining balance and then they may be able to find us a pair... really? They held the items until we fully paid. Then when we go delivery the freezer had major damage so it was returned and replaced a week later. When we had both units, we plugged them in and the Fridge does not cool at all... ie: DOES NOT WORK. We reported it immediately and were told "Kindly know that the issue has been reported after 48 hours. Unfortunately, CAS will not be able to take back the appliance." Why would we have plugged in the fridge when it's paired freezer had not arrived yet? Sad excuse for HORRIBLE customer service. We now need to get Frigidaire to REPAIR our brand new not working, never used Fridge. There is no excuse for CAS to have not replaced this brand new, never used, $3k fridge. They have plenty of excuses... but any decent company would have ensured their customer received a working appliance. RUN RUN RUN away and buy ANYWHERE else.
