It was easy to book and a plumber came the next day to fit my Dishwasher. Very efficient didn't got outside the first hour. Perfect would Deffinately recommend Ian the plumber and the website.
Absolute awful customer service. As a business owner using this service to gain more customers for expansion i can honestly say its never worth it. Ironically, they provide a terrible service to the customers and Traders that use them. This must be breaking consumer codes which for a company that encourage the connection of quality tradespeople to good clients is almost laughable. I see a lot of people on here with similar status.

Don't waste your money
Ok I'm a landscaper, had a call from checkatrade promising me the world and more lol
Gave me 3 months free trial with them... great... NOT.
Not one phone call in that time for work due to errors with there system and my number and postcode not showing up
Then a payment of 143.99 out of my bank?
They did reimburse me, apologized and gave me 4 months free trial then suppose to be £99 a month
Only had 2 calls in 4 months... Oh and around 4 calls asking if I was Steve the locksmith LOL
Still errors goin on with there system
Anyway told them enough I'm done only to find out they have taken 2 payments of 143.99 out of account and I did not agree to that amount then now there telling me I'm in arrears a month and will not close my account unless I pay another 143.99 so I am still getting billed every month for no service from them and They refuse to close the account without payments?
I am gob smacked and now have to seek advice
Please stay away from this company as they lie, take money from you for no service and then try to trap you into payments etc

I've been a member of Checkatrade for over 10 years it used to work well for my company until they let the rogue traders ion the site something the said they would never do, i used to spend over a £1000 a month with websites and leaflet drops but i refuse to be associated with National companies ripping people off! The worse thing is as they are National they build up reviews much quicker so its taken me 10 years to get 1500 reviews because i can only get them local these companies already have taken over me within 1 year surely they should only be able to show the reviews in the area they cover i.e if someone put in a trade in Portsmouth there Portsmouth reviews should only show not reviews in Liverpool total joke really my spend now has come down from £1000 per month to £150 per month and even that i think now is too much real shame but i guess money talks?
Not too bad. Wish the site offered more customer protection though.
Report checkatrade to trading standards, the more of us that report them the better. Checkatrade are an awful bunch of liars.
Prior to any payment to Checkatrade (Vetted Ltd), a quick question must be asked to the team at Checkatrade, is whether they have any legal authorisation to hold clients money for any length of time……?
