There are so many ads displayed you can not read any article easily. Every scroll is another ad where you can read a few lines before another ad. Worse site I've ever been on. Comments are so biased against saying anything against the Republican Party. All comments are just hate against Democrats both State and National. Hate speech against Biden, Newsom. Comments defending them get removed. I sent an e-mail to Congressman Mark DeSaulnier complaining about them.
It's a blog full of MAGA blaming anybody but themselves for their perceived misery. A compilation of right wing memes, cut and paste articles from extreme right wing media. And horrible censoring to keep the MAGA crowd happy. Don't waste your time with this blog.
They are completely bias when it comes to criticizing the POS former president. People are allowed to post comments with offensive words when it comes to President Biden & VP Harris, but god forbid you try and say anything negative towards the disgraced former president.
Comments with racist terms are constantly posted, they seem to not like latinos.

Copy/paste of the larger newspapers articles, the original content that is posted is colored with their political agenda and personal opinion. Not an objective news source by any means and the authors don't even post their name on articles for follow up inquiries/corrections/fact-checking
Articles pretty much reprints of police scanners and public agency press releases. First Star.
Comments dominated by a core of paranoid xenophobic paranoid NIMBY trolls, and the moderators generally kibosh meaningful debate.

This website purports to represent an area that elected a Democrat congressional representative 75/25. The comment section is the triple shot of ignorance... racism, misogyny, and homophobia. But they do seem proud of owning the libs.
Claycord.com is okay for the local scoop, but it is full of very right-wing comments. The gentleman running Claycord.com isn't racist towards Latinos. He IS Latino. A lot of people know who he is. He doesn't have a journalism degree, so don't expect much.

Take the comments with a grain of salt.
The articles are fine (fairly equivalent to the local Patch) but the comments are consistently toxic and, for me, wreck the whole experience
The so-called mayor of claycord is well known in the concord business community of being a racist and only shares his idiot poster views.
