During the assessment of the HVAC system the technician discussed the need for Two capacitors at the cost of $350.00 based on his diagnosis the the decrease of the voltage to supply the necessary electricity to the furnace and compressor. This was done after he tested both capacitors with his meter, also stating at least two (2) pound of Freon will possibly be required. After contacting another service provider who diagnosed the same two capacitors it was determined both were in the normal limits of operation, and if they needed to be replaced it would be at a cost of $60.00. The technician from Comfort Experts attempted to fraudulently obtain funds to secure services for two capacitors for $350.00 which were operational, this is poor customer service and gauging the customer as well as being misleading on the repairs of a unit. Extremely poor service, Poor customer service and Poor representation of a HVAC business. F/up will include contacting the owner and filing a report with the Licensing Board.
