“This site is a bate and scam, they want your credit...”

This site is a bate and scam, they want your credit to start the $1.99 membership, I old repeatedly that I did not want the membership@ this time, and that I wanted to check the listing first, they gave me the site to go to, and there are about 10 listings in the area that I selected, but when you select the location all you get is a prompt to call and sign up for their membership, when I was speaking with the associate she kept on going over the script and telling me that I had 30 days to cancel, I bet, If I gave her my credit card info and If I decided to cancel that would have been a disaster to try and get my money back these are the scammers that get the weak and once they have your info, good luck to try and get it back. All I have to say for those that contact these clowns hide your credit card and don; t give them any info, all they want is your money, and if you do go to their web site, they have 4 easy steps to get you going, including the pre qualification which means giving out your social security number along with your bank accounts, as far as I am concerned these folks can go "###@@##@@###"

If a consumer wants to find a REO property (house in foreclosure), the information is free. B of A, and Wells Fargo, as well as OCWEN, offer lists of properties; and, there is no fee to access these lists---gratis. CRNhome's list is only available when the consumer agrees to pay $1.99 for the handling and postage of a mailing, that they allege is part of their program. This mailing is superfluous. I wanted to see what a consumer gets for enrolling---so, I paid $1.99 and eventually received the mailing that was promised. The time between the initial enrollment and the time that I received this superfluous mailing, I received a phone call from one of their representatives----he was a fast talker, who wouldn't take "no" for an answer: I declined to pay $19.99 for some nebulous offer of additional services---and yet, 5 minutes after the conversation ended, that's exactly what was debited to my credit card. So, of course, I spoke with a supervisor; and I promised that if that charge was not reversed, promptly, that I would file an action against CRNhome, on the grounds of false pretenses. Good news---I was promptly refunded. Long story short: CRNhome is not a well-networked clearinghouse.
