E-Cigarette Forum (ECF) has been a lifesaver for me. If I had not stumbled upon this site in my research on electronic cigarettes a couple of years ago, I would probably still be smoking. As it is, thanks to all the helpful information and resources on this site, I have now been smoke-free for almost 2 years! Not only that, but I've also made several very dear friends through the conversations that have taken place here. I would recommend this site to anyone who wants to stop smoking and learn about e-cigarettes in a safe and caring environment.

The unconditional support I have recieved there is crazy. They are good people who council anyone who needs advice or information... They are helpful and sweet and go above and beyond their call of duity to ensure that ECF is a successful and well informed and maintained site. HOWEVER every forum has RULES and bashing them because you didn't follow the RULES and got your tail banned is rude and hateful.

Thanks to ecf, the moderators there and the forum members, I have become a non smoker after smoking for 35+ years. Everyone involved with ecf has been kind, knowledgeable and very supportive of me as I worked to kick the habit. I owe them all my undying gratitude! Keep up the awesome work ECF!

After smoking a pack and a half a day for 15+ years and trying to quit, the resources, information and support I found through ECF have been nothing but amazing - have not had an 'analog' (cigarette or cigar) in 7 months.

With over 200,000 members and more than half a million discussions - a huge number of which remain current, active and ongoing - it's an amazing community... I have learned more there about the basics of electrical engineering (vis a vis vaping, battery safety, coil building and ohm's law) than I did in college physics - and I was always a 4.0 science student

Not only does the forum and the team there provide a great place for those conversations - in an adult environment - the team also offers both insight and incentive... in the past 6 months, they have partnered with a number of the major manufacturers for contests and giveaways to help encourage, enthuse and expand the ranks of folks who can now say "I don't smoke - and I feel better, will likely live longer (and better), and will get to enjoy a bit more time on this planet with my loved ones"... and that is a pearl beyond price.

Would highly recommend this site to anyone who is either 1) looking for information regarding vaping, tobacco harm reduction and/ or quitting smoking 2) looking for an exceptional community resource for vaping 3) looking for ongoing community/ support in staying tobacco free

ECF is filled with some of the friendliest people I have ever found on the internet. This forum contains a wealth of knowledge, and everyone is willing to share their knowledge. Even simple basic question are answered without making the questioner feel stupid for asking it.

No matter what your experience level is with vaping, you will find that there is a place for you here.

I found EFC some 3 years ago and could not ask for a better gathering of international friends, all with a common goal. Helping Others!
EFC has been the life line that has saved many thousands of us from premature death from Tobacco related illness.

ECF is the most insightful forum in the web. Not only are the members and staff very helpful, they are some of the most generous people on the planet. Some go above and beyond to help smokers become ex smokers. What more could you ask for

I was just treated worse than I ever have been before by any form of website moderation in the history of website moderation. I have noticed throughout the internet on DIY sites people always asking "what is the best way to sweeten you ejuice?" So I wrote an extensive how to explaining in detail the TOP 10 best methods. The article took me hours to research and write and I felt it would be a MAJOR help in the world of smoking cessation.

About 5 minutes after I posted it, the post was removed and my account banned. There was a rotating banner that told to to write them at their support at *******@e-cigarette-forum.com, as I was writing I received an email stating that my post "contained business discussions." (which it did not in any way - it was a DIY FAQ/tutorial)

I emailed them and explained in my article I clearly stated, "Also note: I am not an employee of representative of any of the website links I provide but just sharing where I have ordered from and received a quality product."

To which "*******@e-cigarette-forum.com" $#*!edly replied:

I checked the infraction report.

You are an unregistered supplier discussing your business:
"I figured I would go ahead and offer up my professional 2¢ on the subject after much trial in error over the last few years of making my own commercial ejuices and mods for 3 distributors in my region."

All vendors must first be registered as supplier in order to promote/advertise their business or products on ECF within advertising threads in restricted supplier forums or running adverts. Kindly clarify as you will need to register as a supplier on ECF.

NOTE: "discussing YOUR business," - "in order to promote/advertise their business or products on ECF" -- I work for Global Security Group International LLC., on private national and international security contracts for the Department of Homeland Security and the United Nations. (What does my work have to do with E-cigarettes and that industry!? NOTHING! What did I do to promote my business.)

I then explained that they were mistaken in the semantics of the English I wrote and are citing certain verbiage and not the issue they are claiming. They are saying that I am "advertising my business in a non-registered fashion." Well my businesses I work in are:

1. International and corporate espionage
2. National and International security
3. I am a minister of a small church congregation

What does any of that have to do with e-cigarette supplies - or more specifically - "how to get a sweeter ejuice," and WHERE in my article did I promote ANY SUCH THING!?

They are clearly short on brain cells. They must've been sweetening their ejuices with liquor as I have heard truly kills brain cells fast.

I never knew there was such a large community of vaping enthusiasts until I stumbled across e-cigarette-forum.

There are incredible amounts of information available, as well as discussion just about every topic imaginable (and some unimaginable.) I've managed to find great assistance, whenever I have encountered questions or problems. The vast majority of users are exceptionally kind and helpful. I have always found the moderators to be helpful, too.

As with any grouping of "more than one person", there are those who apparently deem it necessary to invoke their beliefs as "I am the only one who is right, and the rest of you suck." I ventured into a number of threads where the discussion was, IMO, getting a little heated. So, I just left the thread.

All I want from a site such as E-Cigarette-Forum is a place to chat with others who, like myself, use vaping gear to NO LONGER SMOKE CIGARETTES. I understand that this has become a hobby, a fad, a fashion statement. That's fine - you vape the way you want, and I'll vape the way I want. ONLY if I'm attempting something dangerous, TEACH me to be safe. Otherwise, don't tell me I'm being stupid.

The E-Cigarette-Forum has done just that. Hundreds upon hundreds of kind, knowledgeable people post results of testing of equipment. They offer suggestions of how to fix things if something isn't working as expected. They share pictures of coil builds and mods and tanks - to ENHANCE my skills and comfort level with the equipment I own.

The E-Cigarette-Forum has been offering some amazing contests this past year, with the help of a number of prominent suppliers and vendors. I've made new friends, learned how to maintain and customize my equipment and juices, and most importantly, I QUIT SMOKING over 19 months ago.

If you need to know anything about vaping, E-cigarette-forum is my recommended place to hang out.

I found the E-cigarette Forum (ECF) 4 years ago and haven't found anything that compares to it! If you are new to vaping or a veteran you can find info, help, and discussions on any topic, product, reviews, and vendors.

The people are friendly and so helpful. I've never found a nicer community. It's the first place I check before I buy a new mod or try a new vendor.

The site has many options that allow you to follow threads or have private conversations. I have threads that I read and post in daily. Not to mention contests!

If you're new to vaping ECF should be your first stop. You'll always find a warm welcome and good advice.

I have been a member of the ECF Forum since 2012. It is not only the premier source for information on all things e-cig and vaping but it's a community. I visit there daily for information on what's new in the vaping world and to meet and greet with old friends and new that I have met from all over the world.

The wealth of information available on this forum far surpasses any other on the internet. Members are friendly and helpful and I have found the moderators to be gracious, knowledgeable and informative. This forum is a lifeline for me in every respect of vaping. I have learned how to use vaping equipment safely, which products are the right ones for me and why, which companies produce the best quality e-liquids, won high quality prizes from contests run by our generous forum sponsors, and most importantly because of the generosity and willingness of the members of this community to share their knowledge, I have been able to help others as well.

I smoked 2 packs of cigarettes a day for over 30 years. Vaping saved my life and the ECF Forum has been and is still my lifeboat. If you or someone you love smokes and you would like to quit or help someone else to quit, I encourage you to join ECF.

I smoked for 10 years. Bought a cheap little eGo battery at my local shop about 2 years ago. I was never truly happy with that set up, although it did help me quit smoking so it wasn't that big of deal.

About 6 months ago I was searching online for mods and RBA's and I came across E-cigarette Forum. It is the single best search result I have ever gotten. I have not only learned so much in these past months, but I have met some of the warmest, most compassionate people ever.

I have never felt ashamed of not knowing something and being to scared to ask some one in this forum as I have at my local stores. They will help you until you have complete understanding. Everyone on here is so knowledgeable and helpful.

It is also the absolute best place to connect with people who are so passionate about anything e-ciggarette related. I try to get on the forum everyday at least once, because I love it so much.

If you need help with anything e-cig related, or you are curious to see what it's about before quitting or are just lonley and don't have anyone to talk to about mods, this is the most well rounded place to find out anything you ever wanted to know about vaporizers. I guarantee it will change your life as much as it's changed mine.

I found out about E-Cigarette Forum when I was googling recipes for DIY E-liquids.
For a while I was just lurking and got the information I needed then in August 2015 I decided to sign up.

I'm always apprehensive when I join a new forum as in the past I have found some forums to be cliquey and just talking to the people who have been on there longer. Also whenever I've asked questions on other forums my questions got ignored.

I didn't get this with ECF...
When I started posting I was made to feel most welcome by other forum members.

ECF is one big happy family. They have members of different ages and from different countries. Each member is different and will have their own story to tell and they will offer help and support wherever and whenever they can.

I am proud to say I am member of ECF.

I've been on a few forums since I started vaping. ECF is one of the bigger ones. I think the largest outside of Reddit, and based in the UK if I'm not mistaken. A wealth of information for the beginner but beware, way over moderated with too many rules for the average forum surfer to keep up with.
That being said some of the members are very helpful and even some of the moderators. With that large a forum you have to take the bad with the good and I prefer looking at the good side of everything. I relate to the more senior members on ECF. They tend to be the more knowledgeable and helpful posters. Just look at their "join date" and you have the option to "follow". Mostly a welcoming group of people and very harm reduction oriented with emphasis on consumer advocacy. In fact one of the first things you will notice is the abundance of CASAA signature templates being displayed.

With so many people and so many topics I am in constant awe of how well the site runs and how much attention the moderators give to making sure it stays a well rounded site.

I am on other vaping forums and they are ok but the rules are fast and loose on those sites and they are far from "family friendly". As I help other smokers to become vapers I love being able to send ANYONE to ECF... even the highly conservative older ladies of the church can feel "at home" and safe on ECF and I love that!

I have been a member of this forum for 3 years. I was trying to quit cigarettes, and having a PhD in Googology, thought I would do a little research first.

Oh My God! I was SO happy to find this resource. There are LITERALLY hundreds of thousands of experience vapers on this site, and almost to a MAN (or woman, and lots of very sweet ones there too! ;) ) they are all SO willing to take the time to answer your questions, suggest the proper hardware for your level of experience, and point you in all the right directions!

Over the several years I have been there, I have made. Hundreds! Of friends. Most virtual, but many I have met in person either locally, or at vape meets. There are an amazing number of VERY knowledgeable people there, from ALL walks of life. You can, and if you desire, will learn SO much about vaping, or anything else your heart desires.

I see a negative review of one of ECF's FINEST moderators above. I am sorry this person had this experience, but I am certain that if he had read the TOS of the site, he would see that there WAS an infraction and it was dealt with per policy. The site IS... what is the word I want to use. CLOSELY moderated. This is for a myriad of fabulous reasons. They want to be sure that everyone has a pleasant experience, and that nobody feels uncomfortable by hostile, or vulgar, or profane people. They are also very careful to monitor unregistered suppliers of merchandise and services. There are unscrupulous people who would make references under the guise of being helpful, when in fact they have ulterior motives of self interest. Not all may act reputably as well. ECF tries to protect their members from this kind of activity. Moderating 250,000 people is NOT an easy task.

If you are a vaper, or a smoker considering vaping, you CAN NOT do better ANYWHERE on the internet in finding a source of GREAT, and copious, information and meeting amazing and wonderful people. This is an electronic cigarette forum, in a class of its own. Not only is it packed with information from vapers for vapers, but also welcomes the current smoker who is looking to decide whether vaping just might work.

It does, just by the way.;)

There truly is only ONE viable source of valuable information for vapers looking to have ALL their questions answered. ECF suits the beginning vaper, the intermediate or moderate user, and also the hobbyist or advanced vaper. And EVERYONE is welcome, no matter their experience level. There simply is no other site that offers up the quality and quantity of information. Add to that, it is easy to navigate! (unlike certain bookface sites);)

People join an e-cig forum looking for answers to their many questions about vaping. People choose ECF over other forums because it offers them those answers, and gives SO much more. It's an incredibly friendly forum, and one of the by-products of membership is the forming of friendships that for so many of us have become cherished and dear. It holds itself up to high standards and prides itself on being a family friendly place. If one has ever entered into the world of "gutter forums", ECF shines brightly, and remains a beacon, and a breath of fresh air in contrast.

There is one negative review among all these positive ones. I find the reviewer to be quite angry about his experience, and it is sad to see a person lash out at a truly great forum simply because he himself made a mistake and in return, got "slapped" for it. It is equally sad to chastise the people who moderate the forum. Perhaps that reviewer would be better served by a different type of forum that is lawless, lewd, and lacks maturity of thought.

Forum moderation is a thankless job, and it is clearly done for our benefit. So, I say, THANK YOU. And particularly to SmokeyJoe (Oliver K), who had the insight to create this most marvelous Forum.

Thanks to ECF, I have managed to finally quit smoking cigarettes after 30+ years. The people there, ESPECIALLY the moderators, are kind, informative, and willing to answer any questions no matter how strange the question (and I've asked a few of the strange ones). ECF isn't just a forum, it's a family willing to help each other.

Until I stumbled on this forum I had NO idea of what to do, what I might need, or even where to start. Thanks to the knowledgeable, wonderful people here, they pointed me in the right direction. When my interests branched into making my own liquids, I was able to reach out to anyone to ask questions about what I might be doing wrong and promptly got replies back with helpful information from people around the world!

I have noticed that there is a negative reply... Obviously the person chose not to read the site's TOS and all of the other rules and regulations. They are clearly posted everywhere on the site. The moderators do a fantastic job of keeping up with what is going on... and that can not be an easy job considering the thousands of us that there are. Personally, I thank the moderators for doing what they do... they make my time on the forum fun, harassment free, and comfortable.

If you are considering vaping (or already do!), you should seriously come and join us at ECF. I was a "lurker" for awhile before I joined... I really wish I would have joined sooner! You can browse all over the net, and you will not find a better place for a source of fantastic information and very caring people. Just be prepared to make a lot of new friends! I am so thankful I found the ECF community when I started my journey into vaping after smoking for 38yrs. I am generally a shy person and do what is called "lurking" which is just watching/reading others comments in forums without interacting. Most places i checked out while researching Vaping and the various options made me feel downhearted and not want to ask questions because of how they would reference or talk about Noobs (Beginners). Some making fun of them or just totally ignoring them and it almost made me give up on learning about vaping and finding what would be right for me. Then I came across ECF and watched the interactions within that community. OMG what a difference. I saw how the people in here were very friendly, took time to help each other out, and get this ( ENCOURAGED) us newbies to join in. After watching for a while and seeing that my head was not gonna get bit off for asking a NooB question I decided to give it a try. The people in this community have been so AWESOME and helpful to me that i am now 103 days Cig free and Making my own juices. The Moderators are Fantastic and take part in conversation and are a blessing for all they do to keep the forum organized, free of spammers and outside links that could potential harm the people of the Community. They are not only Fellow Vapers but they Become Family. I know I would of probably went back to cigs if it had not been for ECF and the Great people that make up the community.

When I started vaping in 2012 I had a lot of questions. As we only had one vape shop locally, which was run by one lady who had only been vaping for a few months, there was not a lot of information. I took to Google and every search I did led me to ECF. I found so much great information I decided to join the community. Due to a glitch in the registration process I was unable to post and I gave up for a while, but I kept reading the information. I finally got to the point where I wanted to actually contribute, so I send the moderators a message letting them know I was having trouble gaining access. Even though I was frustrated, I was very impressed with the tight level of security against spammers, and I got the help I needed to get completely registered. I am so glad I did! Over the past 2 years ECF has been a part of my daily life. I have learned so much on this forum, and I have made some amazing friends. My husband calls it my second family. :) I love how diligent the moderators are with keeping ECF a safe and informative environment. I honestly don't know how they do it. ECF is the largest single source of vaping information on the internet, and it runs more smoothly than any other forum I have ever been a part of. I have accidentally broken the rules before and I got moderated. I was given an explanation of why my post was deleted and reminded of the rules. It happens, but it is ultimately my responsibility to read the rules and obey them, because someone is always watching. As I stated previously, I am more than okay with that. This is exactly why I turn to ECF time and time again for reliable, accurate, safe information. I could not be more happy with ECF and my ECF family! -member cooladdict
