The man I spoke to initially was kind but this time around, the woman who helped me was beyond rude, just because I called it a "transponder" and not an "easy pass". From then on, she was on the defense, telling me the system informed me of the terms, which was not applicable since I ordered it on the phone. When she finally checked my account and saw that the request was over the phone, she didn't change her tune or apologize. She just kept talking over me... not a fun conversation.
Ezpass is a bunch of criminals and severely unethical, they have monopolized usage, and render people's rights to freedom and their business should be considered unconstitutional.
I have an EZPass for bridges and tunnels in NY. First, I tried to check my balance over the phone, but it didn't work.
Then, I tried to create an account online to check my balance, and they have to send me a temporary password BY MAIL?!?
I just want to check my balance before I drive over a bridge today. I don't want to end up owing more than I have.
It's ridiculous that I can't just create my own password like EVERY OTHER WEBSITE!
