I know there is a shortage on rental cars but I needed 1 for 2 days and have always had great experiences with enterprise rental car but this vehicle had ******* miles and it looked like someone's personal vehicle inside and smelled Like cigarettes. 70 dollars a day for a smelly car

This corporate reported the car stolen when I wasn't able to answer their phone call. I spoke with them after they left a message saying very urgent, I said I will to return next morning Saturday She said only 9:00 am until 10:00 am. They didn't care my phone call and reported the car stolen even I spoke with them. It charge $4000 no refund the deposit and my background was harmful damage. They are the thieves no me. They have Monday to Friday short period open late and closed early. They took the money everyday for my debit card whatever amount over charge. They never told me if I didn't answer the phone or not return on time the car I will be reported as a thief: bad faith. From them. Even I paid auto insurance cover thief or stolen, comprehensive, full coverage when I rent it. Thief don't get rent a car. Get the car whatever place and never comeback. I provided my address, copy of my driver license and 2 phone numbers She never called to the second number. Stay away from this corporation. If they answer this don't believe them. Trust me - It's my first time written reviews this is worthy and necessary I am 56 years old and never in my life somebody call me thief or harmfully damage my reputation. I was charged extra fees because I was different than enterprise white bigot manager. Rude and condescending. Multiple hassles every time at Morse Road Columbus OH location. Manager is a $#*!!

Tip for consumers:
Avoid the rude a$$ management and go elsewhere than enterprise

I visited the Enterprise Rental Car location on Covington Pike at 10:40 A.M. When I arrived waited for 2 hrs to be told they had no vehicles, I was advised by one of their CSR'S, that they would have to go to another location to get a pickup truck in which was the vehicle that my family needed, and it would be available at 2pm. I called to be told that they still had no Truck available, however the Manager assured me that I would get a truck today. After waiting a another 2hrs at home to be picked up from home my another representative to be taken to retrieve the Truck, I was advised at this point the policy has changed that you could only rent Trucks with a Credit Card and the deposit is now $300.00. Now keep in mind and have been in contact with at least 4 people and no one had explained that at all. I had no problem with the amount of the deposit, however I had a problem that everyone knew I needed a specific type of vehicle at no time did anyone feel the need to tell me of the changes, as they are not posted in the building. So instead of the Manager stepping up and taking care of the issue he was like oh well basically. I spoke with a very sweet young lady that tried to assist in every way although she has only been there a week and still learning she showed more concern than the Manager. She tried to get him to come to talk to me, he began to close the location and never addresses me all. The polite thing that he should have done was to honor my reservation put me in a vehicle of my choice especially since, I have been a long time customer and waited all day for nothing. This has been one of the worse experiences that I have ever encountered. Great customer service goes along way. This is opportunity for training.

Reserved a car for my trip to phoenix. The morning we were suppose to pick up the car we get a call saying the location had no cars, and "WE" would have to call are to other locations to find a car, but they would honor our price. Called customer service and they found another car for us and switched our reservation. On the way to that location we get a call that the new location doesn't have any cars! Called again, was told the regional manager would find a car and give us a call, that was a week ago, never heard from anyone. Lucky we found a car with a different company. Which was so fortunate, because my wife ended up in the hospital while we were there, and the only bed they could get her in was an hour away from where we were staying. This would have been a nightmare if we didn't have a vehicle. NEVER TRUST ENTERPRISE! There customer service use to be great. This is not the first time they've fail us in the last year, but this will be the last time they get the opportunity.

Tip for consumers:
If you are going to use them, I would have a back up resevation, and NEVER PAY THEM UP FRONT!!!

They never provided us with a vehicle, had to contact a differnt company (AVIS) to get a car.

My car got write off by icbc. They provided me Enterprise rental car while waiting for my settlement. In first week Jan 18-25. I was unable to used the vehicle till jan 21. I called the representative to make sure that im covered with everything before driving the vehicle They told me icbc does not cover my insurance and i have to purchase it on my own. The rep told me its 9.99 cad a day. Who wants to drive without insurance? But then i told the rep i will use the car in my 5th day of rental. He said its ok i will charge you from Saturday Jan 22-25. When i returned the car i saw that my credit card is charged 37.40cad so i assumed thats the insurance payment. Jan 26 icbc provided me again for the second time a rental Jan 26-feb15. This time i knew i shouldnt buy insurance from them. Icbc and my insurance broker informed me that i dont have to purchase because my current auto insurance will apply to the rental car. Wow the sooner i know the better.
When i returned the second rental car on feb 15. I it ended up ENTERPRISE charged my credit card 137.40cad total. I called them and they said thats the insurance charged. For 4days i have to pay that amount? Common have a heart. It is not right selling insurance to people whose having bad days. Dont take advantage of people. I still have not cancel my current auto insurance since im not getting any rebates because of this rental car. So i ended up loosing my own auto insurance rebates and paying 137.40cad for my rental car ENTERPRISE. BEWARE of false information folks. It can be costly.

If I could leave zero stars I would. To say it nicely my first time renting a car in the words of the grinch, "STINK,STANK, STUNK!" I had to have a car rented for me by caliber collision in Moore Oklahoma because they had to repair some damage that they had fixed from a previous repair, that had come undone. Great Collision Place by the way lifetime warranty. However, although they paid for the rental, Enterprise tricked me into believing that I needed their their car insurance, on top of my car insurance so if anything happened to the car, I wouldn't be liable. Their car insurance is $25 a day. I had the car for 25 days. I ended up in the end paying 625 dollars plus tax equaling 662.23 cents. I confronted them on the phone about how I found out my insurance would covered it all the way. Nonetheless, they said it was my choice to get the insurance, in the end it might have been true. I was gullible and fell for their skim They knew I had full coverage. I am sure the collision place shared that with them. Why would I be getting my car fixed? I spoke to them at the location on the phone and in person they said they would look into it and see what they could do for me. They did nothing. I called Enterprise's corporate office, They didn't care either. They sent me a survey that I was not completing until my bill totally went through because it was in limbo. Unfortunately they would not send me a new one. Honestly, I don't know what good surveys do or reviews out here unless obviously they don't give two hoots or a rats butt. About their costumers. When they see you coming they see you coming and they know you need a car so that's how they treat you NOT NICE! There is NO the customer is always right with them. In my opinion they are scammers, leaches,crooks shysters, and full of themselves. Never again. Just another Live and Learn experience.
