Fare Corner

This company advertises airfares and an added discount if you call. If you call they will tell you there are no seats left at that price and quote you something double. If you click on the non-discounted fare, it takes you to a totally different, more expensive flight. This happened to me seven times in a four week period. If you ask them they have no idea why this happens. Scam! Scam! Scam!

They book your ticket for a good price but then you get an email to call them and they say that price is no longer available. They will have to charge about $50.00 more because the economy class is full. They will offer to honor the original price if you will give them a good review. Some people must do that, because there are a few 5 star reviews but the legitimate reviews are 1 star.

You try to book your tickets and they hold them as pending, and send you an email requesting you to contact them urgently. A person with a heavy accent gets the call and says that the category you booked has no seats and tries to put you on a more expensive seat. While I was on the phone with him, I pulled this page and read the reviews (I should've seen this earlier).

They are a scam. Stay away. We took a return ticket from AUS to JFK for March 2023. The price was good, but they cancelled one of the return tickets. We had to face a lot of hassle at the airport. Delta was able to confirm that Farecorner suspended one of the tickets 3 days before the return. I lost my money.

Read the reviews, they do the same thing over and over! They suspended our tickets before our return trip and we had to pay $3600 to fly home from AZ to MSP! Good luck on getting any information or your money back! Do NOT Fall for it! It is absolutely devastating the way they ruin a trip!

These guys are good! They were listed with priceline & expedia. Took our money & even sent delta emails somehow. Delta said they are a scam. When we called farecorner they said it was deltas fault. Soon they'll be caught & disappear just to create a new one & do it all over again. Sad what ppl can get away with. Dont ever use a 3rd party for travel its hell.

I bought two, full-priced, round-trip, United Airlines tickets through Fare Corner for a Thanksgiving trip to see my sister. A week in advance, my traveling companion had an emergency and could not go. Fare Corner refused a refund or even a voucher for a future flight. When I checked in alone to depart, United could not find my ticket. They had to generate a new one. I had to go clear across a huge airport to make that happen. When it came time to return home, United could not find my ticket and could not do anything for me. There was no reservation in my name for a return flight and there was only one ticket left to be purchased. I had to buy a second, full-priced ticket at the United counter just to be able to go back home. I wound up spending a total of $1800 for one person to fly round trip on a short, domestic flight. United said to take it up with Fare Corner. Fare Corner said to take it up with United. Neither one is willing to make me whole and I will never use Fare Corner again. I will advise others not to use it as well.

Stay Clear of them. I booked tickets next thing u know they said they need more money cause those flights with those prices dont existed anymore. So I pay I get to ORD and United Airlines doesnt have an iternerey with us. They informed me Farecorner did not pay for the tickets. Now I cant get a refund. Total scam bunch of idiots that steal peoples money.

I'm going to have to contact my bank to get my money back. I booked a flight to myrtle beach from Detroit. My family is supposed to fly tomorrow. Things seemed a little shady through the booking process, saying the flight I paid for online wasn't available, but I would have to pay a little more to book better seats. Ok, we took the risk and I received my Delta confirmation after paying. I can see the tickets booked online and can change seats and add bags. I can log onto Deltas website and see a payment was made. I even received my Delta time-to-check-in email this morning. Got an error message while trying to check in "we're sorry we can't validate your ticket". Called Delta, they said the "travel agency" paid for the flight, then went back and suspended the flight and there is nothing they can do. I called the *******636 for Farecorner and they guy said he needs 2 hours to work on it & would call me back. It's been almost 3 hours. Called again, he needs another hour. Delta basically told me this is a scam and to contact my credit card company to get a refund. What a horrible company to scam people and ruin their vacations. Now I get to break my daughters heart when I pick her up from school that she won't get to see her grandparents she hasn't seen since before covid. Shame on these people.

They are totally fraudulent company. They cheated thousands of people. They didn't refund my $3500+ money for a year. I sent them a lawyer notice but still they didn't pay me back. I am not sure how they are doing fraudulent business and cheating with thousands of people front of the people and government. Why government is not taking action to them. They should be severely punished for their cheating and fraudulent business. I am waiting government officials should take a look at this people's claims and give them in jail. Thanks

The Farecorner.com site is a complete scam. They give you a "pending ticket" for a certain price listed on their site and then try to charge you more the next day. When they guaranteed I would get the "second offer" after "talking to the supervisor" and being on the phone with them for over an hour, they never sent the tickets and would no longer answer my phone calls. They promised me they would email me the tickets twice (once within 30 minutes) and never did. Their website is false advertising, because even if you call at the time the fare is listed on their site, they will not give you that price or book the tickets. They also said if I gave them a good review they would give me a "special price". This was also not the case since I never got the tickets after calling and emailing numerous times over a two day period. They list their fares much lower than competitors, but don't believe it! They are complete liars!

On 12/16 I was looking for flights from Syracuse ny to Nashville tn. I found great prices on FareCorner so I booked the flight. Then I got an email to contact them. They wanted an extra $140 for each ticket because the website supposedly was incorrect. They wouldnt honor the website price so I had to cancel the flight.

Brother in law almost booked, but he called me because it was too good to be true. It is. Stay AWAY.

I found a flight that was cheap and available booked it, it gave me a warning that it wasn't booked yet and someone will call me, some guy with a major accent called me and said that they have to agree with United, then he called me adn said they agreed but for a higher price (which was still ok) and if I am ok with that I have to reply to their email stating that I confirm. I did and they congratulated me on booking. I made plans ect and a day later they sent me an email - as per our conversation your booking Is canceled... I was beyond disappointed but happy that now I know they are scammers!

Agent was very knowledgeable and pleasant to work with. He patiently helped me find the best tickets and the best price for my trip. He guided me through every step until I received the iterinary. I was very satisfied with his customer service skills. I would definitely use him again. Thank you very much for your hard work.
