I bought plane tickets with them which were very affordable but I didn't receive my confirmation. When I contacted them, the price of the tickets was over $1,000 more than the $550 I had originally paid. And the agent told me I was going to lose the 550 if I didn't buy the upgrade with them.

Don't loose money. Never book a ticket with them. If you book a ticket they send an email saying "Your Online Flight Request Details" and they provide some phone number for a call. If you call them, they will say that flight no longer available and they offer different flights with un reasonable prices.

The worst airline company just you will lose your money because they will give you the ticket that the company have had.even you choose your own time before you signed the terms. I have A bad experience with this company. I booked with them and we agreed about a specific time then when issue my ticket they gave me a different from the time i chose the first time. I spoke with them, they told me: "that what we found". I tried to reschedule in the first time because I missed my flight, that cause the bad time they gave me, I called them::they told me we can not help you only if you want pay another ticket". After a while they called me and they offered to give me another ticket when I decided to book they told me you need to pay 3500 more than the first ticket that cost $1960 like I will book in the business or first class when I ask another agency they give me tickets for 2800 which the difference is more than $2500 which is fraud. Please don't book with this scam company because in the first they will do their best to caught you till you pay then they will say sorry we can help you talk to you airline flight. Shamed of you

I assume they give out actual tickets here and there. Probably using previous clients credit cards that they have defrauded. They linked my credit card to the two airlines where they bought my original tickets. Turns out it is extremely easy to detect fraud when you buy tickets for some random passenger...

These were the airlines where they bought my tickets ~16 hours before my travel after giving me the run around for days and refusing a refund. I was forced to book elsewhere.

Fareshope is straight up fraudulent and illegal.

Please don't fall for it, or if you have, cancel your credit card or check for linked accounts. Check your transactions folks.

I booked a refundable ticket from JFK to Malawi( Africa) with Adonis in October to travel in December. He sent me an electronic ticket after a few days.
I called the airline to confirm the flight, only to be told that the agent did not yet pay the ticket. I kept calling fareshoppe for them to issue the ticket, but they assured me the ticket was already paid for.
A week before travel, I called United Airlines again to check, and they told me the agent hadn't paid for the ticket yet and there were 2 seats left on that flight.
I kept calling fareshoppe, and at this point, I couldn't get hold of Adonis or his supervisor Hector.
A few days before travel, Hector called me and left a voicemail ( which I still have) saying he didn't understand why I kept calling the airline, but he was happy to issue a refund if that's the route I wanted to take.
I texted Adonis, saying I needed the refund and would book the ticket directly with the airline.

A month later no refund. I reported it to my bank, and fareshoppe refused to return the money.
I have called and emailed adonis, and hector does not respond anymore.
And when you call their customer service number, everyone that works there says they are not here, but they will give you a call tomorrow. And they don't call.
So at this point, they still haven't returned my $1980.24.
I don't think it's a legitimate travel agency, so please save your safe some peace and don't deal with them.
Attorney General and BBB should investigate them soon before they get out of control.

Adjectives to describe our experience: scam, analog, incompetent, infuriating, liars.

On January 7,2024, my husband found a flight deal that looked like it was directly with the airline. It wasn't until PCM called him back on January 9 to inform him that the flights were "canceled" that he became aware that it was a travel agency. They had found "new flights" that were going to be an additional couple hundred dollars per ticket. He called them back yesterday because we still haven't gotten our tickets. It's been two months. He was told that the airline had canceled them. Why weren't we called back immediately or refunded the $5k? Good question?! They asked for more time to see if they could fix it - three times! The could get three tickets, but not five, because they had to CALL the airlines. Are they analog? Are they somewhere that doesn't have reliable internet?

He had to tell them 15 times, "No, I'm not giving you more time. I want my money back." FIFTEEN TIMES! Really?! Then he was told that to get a fast refund by tomorrow it would cost $100/ticket or it would take 2-3 weeks.

Dear company, if you choose to respond, I do NOT want an automated response about how sorry you are. It shouldn't have taken 15 times for the agent to finally relent to a refund. You said you couldn't get the same flights as we had which is a BOLD FACE LIE. We were able to book the exact same tickets, same airlines, same time, and all five on our own. We should get the ticket costs refunded, which are now $6,899.75 due to your incompetence, with NO ADDITIONAL FEES and it shouldn't take 2-3 weeks.
