Wanted to get a simple light fixture at my front door changed there's an existing one there I bought a new one very simple job was told the coupon is not for a light fixture change that it's just a proposal fee and I'm like oh you got to be kidding me what is the light fixture change oh we can't tell you that until we come out and look at the job so I can only imagine that you know the price would have been you know four times as much so I will shop somewhere else I don't like coupons that mislead people like this one did

I called George Brazil on a Sunday morning to unclog my kitchen sink. They said they would be there Monday. OK. Two hours later they called me and said they could actually be there the same day, (Sunday). Great! Two hours later they wanted to tell me that I was next in line, they wanted to touch base with me. OK. Two hours after that they called again and this time said they could not come, (Sunday), nor Monday, they could see me Tuesday. REALLY!
My whole Sunday was wasted waiting on them! Called Roto-Rooter, they came within three hours, quoted me a price, no charge if I didn't like the quote and they were done in 45 minutes! Thank you Roto-Rooter, George Brazil can learn something from them!

George Brazil has a FLAT RATE FEE OF $462 TO SNAKE A CLOGGED DRAIN! Unless you like paying mega bucks for something others would charge 1/4 for, DONT EVER CALL THEM IF YOU VALUE YOUR MONEY! I was told this was the flat rate by Josh Cook, one of the managers after I called later to say there must have been a mistake.

Here's how it went:
I called, I asked if they could come out today, because it was an Airbnb and I told the tenants I would fix it immediately. I called at 9 am. They said there would be a trip charge (I think $69) that would be waved if I used them to do the work. At 4PM they arrived. He took a look at my slow draining kitchen sink and came out and told me it would be $462! I couldn't believe it! I said there must be a mistake! You can't charge that much for a snake! He said it was their flat rate fee. The tenants were there, I'd waited all day instead of calling other companies, and I felt stuck... plus I would have to pay the damn trip charge if I didn't go with them. So I signed for the service, knowing full well I would talk to their manager before I wrote terrible review to give them a chance.

So I called this morning, I explained to the manager that the technician was done snaking the drain and had it cleared in 20 minutes. Then he went and got a camera to scope it. All in all he was out there 2 hours...( trying to take a lot of time since I complained so bad to him.)The manager said that $462 is the flat fee they charge for a slow drain! He explained they had to pay their technician and overhead. I said $200+ an hour with no parts was rather steep, and that I'd never written a bad review before in my life, but I'd be writing one for them on the major sites. Then he had the audacity to say, "LISTEN LADY, YOU ARE OBVIOUSLY TRYING TO EXHORT ME. WHAT DO YOU WANT?" Implying he would give me money back. I replied it was they that exhorted me and told him I didn't want anything from them! After all, I had signed for it, they gave me the service. And now I'm free to write my reviews! I just wanted to hear why the management thought they could charge so outrageously. He said that all plumbers charge the same price. They just tell you small price, then get you in the end. I told him I'd be sure to mention that the manager of George Brazil feels all plumbers charge $462 for a clogged drain since everyone obviously charges that much.

So, I advise you to read the other 1 star reviews and find out for yourself... THEY CHARGE OUTRAGEOUSLY FOR THEIR SERVICES! STAY AWAY!

I write reviews all the times. I feel very good for a change to write a review for this great company. As we all know A/C problems usually happen during the months of summer. So, it was no surprise to me when my water decided to quit on me right in the middle of winter. I called customer support at George Brazil and have a service call scheduled. Within a few hours, I received text message with the technician ETA and his BIO. I was impressed. The tech got to my house and literally checks the pilot light which was causing my water heater not coming. He also presented me with all other options available to me as it relates to repairing or replacing my unit. And then, the tech did not even charge me a single penny. I had my credit card ready to pay the company. I must tell you that I don't know too many companies who would have dispatched their techs without charging or making up something to charge customers. This is so rare in the crazy world of business. I would definitely call George Brazil for any plumbing issues, A/C issues etc. In fact, I will call George Brazil to them replaced my water heater. This company and their highly skilled and professional technician are above. Integrity matters. I would definitely recommend this company to anyone who is looking for great service, efficiency, honesty and integrity.
