You actually have to give personal information to redeem this card that's not wise obviously the person who purchased this was too lazy to go and purchase the gift card I would have liked or just send me cash
Do not use this horriable company. They advertise fake guft cards they sell in the net whuch are actually carda to make a depoait to a bank account or PayPal. MY friend Wwent to make a bank deposit and the bank said the code he gave was useless. I called for a refund but no one answers the phone sent 5 letters no action. Avoid them zero stars
Ask me for my Social Security number and date of birth. I had to confirm my yahoo address only for them the next day to cancel the gift card now I'm concerned about fraud.
When we searched for how to buy a gift certificate to a specific restaurant called Sissy's in Breckenridge, we were happy to get a hit. Giftly's site for Sissy's gift cards has a nice description of the place and a cute graphic of what the gift card would look like, with "Sissy's" on it. After I purchased it and it was sent to the recipient, I researched further for details about how the recipient redeems the digital card. THAT is when I discovered that NONE of the gift cards are specific to any place. They are only Visa gift cards. The whole reason I needed a gift certificate to a restaurant for my cousin was to give him money for FOOD ONLY. Not for cigarettes and alcohol. Now, I've sent him a gift card for whatever his heart desires. NOT my intention.
Can't cancel it without emailing customer service. NO one answers the phone - you can only leave a message.
I sent a Giftly egift and a week later they threatened to cancel it unless I sent more info. I did and they cancelled it anyway. Why even approve it in the first place? Never contacted me or offered a valid explanation as to why? Pathetic.
Do yourself a favor and use a more reputable company for egifts.
Why would anyone use this company if you knew how everything is processed. They are deceptively using your money and they require you give out your personal information to redeem a so called "gift certificate" for cash. They have no accounts at any business for you to redeem your certificate. You redeem the certificate by having them send money to your paypal or personal account. The EMAILED gift card is only a suggestion of where you should shop. You still have to use your own money, or wait for the transaction period of funds being deposited in your account. I can't believe the Federal Government allows this company to continue doing business.
It's not gift card. Money are not available right away. They just send fancy email to recipient and then offer to transfer the money to Paypal, Bank account in 3 to 4 days or receive physical cash card in 2 weeks. Service costs 7 bucks. I could have just transfer via Zelle or PayPal and don't pay that fee. Don't waste your money.
First, you do not receive a gift card. You receive a card with a code that indicates you an provide your bank info or request a card which takes up to 14 business days to process. I paid $113.00 for an Aldi gift card. Surprise Surprise they don't even have those gift cards. They send a visa card, but the recipient must request it. Many online comments about users having issue using their cards! This site is not even worth 1 star. Once you order your card they tell you repeatedly to thank the giver in a very demanding rude way. Terrible service and terrrible product.
I cannot even give Giftly a 1 star review. We have received 2 Giftly cards for 2 different restaurants in the last year. We followed instructions and activated as required. In both instances, at both restaurants, the managers had difficult time processing the Giftly cards and when they finally were able to, they had to do so in $10.00 increments only. The cards were for $50.00 each but we could not access entire amount at checkout. They appear to want you to leave a balance on card. We were informed by the staff at both restaurants that this was not unusual with Giftly. I have told our Daughter not to use Giftly again.
Received a modest gift from a relative and Giftly aka PerfectGift.com makes it really hard to redeem. Simply getting a physical gift card took a week and then when trying to buy a pizza for less than the amount, the card was denied. (PerfectGift's excuse is that food retailers automatically add a 20% phantom tip prior to completion of the transaction and that put me over the cards limit. Also to empty the card you have to do multiple transactions to drain any remaining amount. Sounds like a scam...keeping your money in their pocket for as long as they can.
Giftly has a rating of 1 stars from 17 reviews, indicating that most customers are generally dissatisfied with their purchases. Giftly ranks 98th among Gift Cards sites.
