“Customer Service Issue”

Several weeks ago I had Gold Medal Services (NJ) install a hot water heater. During our many conversations they seemed anxious to do the job, were competitively priced, and customer focused. The installers did a great job and emailed me a invoice. The next day I noticed the invoice had the wrong heater manufacturer listed. I thought it would be easy to correct the invoice. Wrong over the next several days I texted the installer, left a voice mail for his manager, spoke with several customer service reps and chatted with internet support who all promised to forward my request to the billing department. The last call I made was to another customer service rep who guaranteed me that he would get the invoice corrected. Guess what? Yes, NO corrected invoice as of today. To me the invoice change should be a no brainer. Customer service and follow-up are very important. For my next job, I will think twice before calling Gold Medal Services.

“Poor customer service”

Bought heating and cooling system 7 years ago. I am now on motor number 3 for my furnace which I am still waiting for. Customer service just puts me through dispatch who are snippy when you ask were the part is. My last motor only lasted 1 year. They have also cancelled maintenance service that has been scheduled before and never reschedule. Can't seem to get an answer or anyone to fix our problem. Will not use again or refer to anyone.

Got a mailer today that was disguised as a tax rebate check. It even said PAY TO THE ORDER OF next to the Statue of Liberty.
I presume this was to get you to open it right away!
For this reason alone I would never call this company for Cooling, Heating, Plumbing, Electric, or Indoor Air Quality needs!

Tip for consumers:
Don't get excited thinking you were getting money like they said "PAID TO THE ORDER OF".

None, it was just an advertising trick.

I called today at 1:00 about a leaky hot water heater and the service gave me a window from 2:00 to 6:00. At 1:10 I was delighted to receive a call from the tech who said he was on his way to my house. He never arrived. At 2:45 I called the service and was told that he was redirected to a house an hour from me. Nobody ever called me to say that he would not show up. At 4:20 I called and they said that they had no idea if he would even be able to show up. Very poor communication. Stay away from Gold Medal.

I WAS WITHOUT HEAT FOR 6 DAYS - NJR MY SERVICE PROVIDER COULDN'T DO ANYTHING FOR ME FOR ANOTHER MONTH. IMAGINE NO HEAT IN DECEMBER FOR A DISABLED SENIOR, OR ANYONE WITH THIS PROBLEM. I CALLED GOLD MEDAL WITHIN A 24 HOUR PERIOD. I HAVE A NEW FURNANCE. THANK YOU NEAL PRASAD & GOLD MEDAL - YOU ARE MY HEROES. THANK YOU MRS VG MCCOMBS
