Who said, "Hey, let's make spyware and disguise it as a tool to help teachers!" I'll tell you: Whoever made Hapara did. Not everyone has it yet, but Hapara has reached some of my classmates' PCs. AT THEIR HOME. I'm telling you, this is a terrible site. It's also, as I mentioned earlier, a spyware. The worst part it that it's for spying on KIDS, TEENAGERS, AND PRE-TEENAGERS. To teachers, it's just a helpful site to get kids off games, but it also makes everyone in my class feel unsafe, and to the people who don't have it yet, they're paranoid that it could be given to them at any time.

I honestly hate Hapara, why? BECAUSE THEY BLOCK STUFF. Sure its just like you can't play games and search/do anything inappropriate but blocking everything? AND not to mention they want students to feel "safe" what do you mean? Letting parents see what their child is doing is not the worst and I understand it's a school computer but honestly why block it now when you could've blocked it a long time ago? I have watched a youtube ItsFunneh and it has been my favorite for soooo long but no hapara thinks that this youtube channel is gaming and it is but what does it think? That we are gonna play games on youtube? Play games how like you blocked almost every game and you wanna block a youtube channel. Seriously? Also why can't you unblock games after school like after 6 or something. Its so stupid and I cant wait to leave my school district and stop using it.

Hapara Highlights Extension is a chrome browser designed to "block" games. However, this website spies on students and children while also blocking 99% of everything on the children/student(s) devices. This so-called "extension", however, has teachers and parents literally spying on you 24/7. And this is called spyware, which is illegal everywhere in the United States. Whoever created or designed this extension needs to get a new brain, because anything that isn't recommended by "deledao safesearch" is categorized as FREAKING. GAMES. I swear they block stuff that aren't even games, like Toytheater. Toytheater is actually an educational website, and crappy Hapara had to block it, probably because it had something like "toy" in it. Is Hapara stupid or what? Some of my friends got brainwashed by Hapara because apparently, they saw that Hapara " Highlights helps meet the Children's Internet Protection Act (CIPA) requirement that K-12 schools and libraries use internet filters and implement other measures to protect children from harmful online content". I find this information on the website unoffcial and crappy, because what I can tell, many students out there "know the truth" about Hapara. What I mean by that is that this extension blocks EVERYTHING you can do on a school chromebook, and students need some entertainment from home after school. But no. You install some crappy Hapara and place it in your students' chromebooks and 3 days later, their parents threaten to sue the school because of that.
I have a question: How is YouTube CATEGORIZED AS GAMES? It would make more sense if this is categorized as entertainment. Hapara is used by teachers, like I mentioned in previous statements, to spy and close off students' tabs to keep them on track. If all students that are in the U.S. find out that Hapara spies on them, most younger students will probably tell their parents and every street goes mad. The ability to spy on students is extremely creepy, and this extension is used in my school, so this makes me feel more unsafe. This website spies on children and can make them feel unsafe, most likely making their future feel unsafe.
This website is beneficial to teachers, but harmful to students. I and every other child is the world's future, and it is the adults job to protect me and every other kid. Hapara makes me feel unsafe, every student unsafe, and every child unsafe. So why don't we put an end to it?

Like anything that is RECOMMENDED BY DELEADO is BLOCKED WHEN YOU CLICKED ON IT. For me, when you click a video that was recommended by Deleado safesearch they block it. That's what I meant in the previous statement. They can also spy on you 24/7. Plus, why don't they let us play games or watch fun things at the end of school, or at the weekends? Some people don't have opportunities to play on their own devices because their families can't afford such things. Additionally, I heard a rumor about them DOWNLOADING THEMSELVES into your school computers' files, sends an email that gets deleted within MILLISECONDS, and even though you might click on the Email, it says there's nothing there. Hapara is MALWARE. Also, forgot to mention, some of this could reach PERSONAL DEVICES. I bet a billion bucks ON THE LINE that if Hapara Highlights reaches EVERY SCHOOL in the WORLD, I bet everywhere, people go MAD.Overall, this website SUCKS and should be removed NOW.
