We tried the beef wellington and didn't like it at all. Good thing I ordered the turkey along with it because this was the best I've ever had and I LOVE turkey! The turkey came out moist and tasty and the pastry crust was delicious! Definite rave from me!
Don't bother ordering from this company when there are many others out there offering Great Customer Service. This company still has people working remotely from their homes only taking information and then passing it on to someone else they makes you wait 48 plus hours for a response. I placed an order for Christmas Dinner…over $300 and needed to update my shipping address because I had moved from my previous address over 5 years ago…so I did that. I reviewed everything on my order and hit place order. Then I look at my confirmation and their system defaulted back to my old address. With a good company this wouldn't be a problem, but this is NOT a good company. When you try to revise order or cancel order you are told there is no way to do this once the order is placed. Really? Had to wait until Monday at 8:00 am to call customer service and when I did speak to someone and explained the issue I was told that a case would be opened and I would be called back within 24-48 hours. Unbelievable! My order is looking to be shipped out to an address that is an hour away from where I currently live and that's all I get. I emailed 3 times and phoned multiple times to follow up on "my case" but still my order went to the old address and they just didn't care. UPS told me all they needed to do as the sender was to contact them and re-route the delivery to my current address but they sat on their hands and did nothing at all. 3 days later they email me to say this was "human error" so my fault and all they will do is send a replacement at 50% of my cost plus I pay the full $50 shipping charge AGAIN. They can kiss my ***! I reached out to my realtor who got in touch with the new owners of my previous home and they are being kind enough to keep my perishable items frozen until I can drive an hour to pick them up this weekend. Luckily my order mistakenly went to some good people…it could have turned out very differently. Impromptu Gourmet…shame on you! I hope your company goes under very soon due to your lack of customer service. I will be unsubscribing from all catalogs and emails from your company because I would never buy from you again…and I will tell anybody who will listen that they shouldn't either!

I received a impromptugormet.com package as a sympathy gift. This review is simply about the (lack of) "gourmet" presentation. In the huge styrofoam package, the dry ice bag was ripped, the soup boxes had come open, and the only indication of the sender was an invoice on VERY cheap paper that had been torn in half. Having sent one of these to someone else for the same reason, I know the cost, and the impression doesn't match.
Imagine your garage mechanic taking his fishing cooler to Costco, buying in bulk, throwing the purchases in the cooler and dropping it at your door. This is not a review of the quality of the food.
