“Thieves”

Deborah C.
7/26/22

Starting in April 2021 till July 2022 I was double billed. When I proved this to them, they refused to refund the $150 I had over paid. No way to contact them by mail or phone so they said too bad. Poor service and thieves.

I was an iWin customer for a number of years, but I have now canceled my membership. First they magically raised the monthly fee, and then many of the supposed New Games were actually released many years ago. Not impressed.

They have really good games and i really enjoy playing them but it seems like the games play with ads but barely play without ads. I know i am not going to keep paying almost $13 a mouth and its trash and barely wants to play. You can do every thing they tell you down load and etc and it still barly plays and if it plays after a while it stop and you can't even play a new game. After this month they will not get anymore money until they can do better with it.

I quit playing games on bigfish because i noticed my cpu usage was going to the roof but at that moment iwin was ok with same games but about 7 months ago my cpu start to go up with their games too, is fees i paid every month since 2009 allow them too hack my computer for more cash? And be aware their suppose online free games site is the same. So, i did contact them and asked whats going on they ask me to provide them a copy of my directx that i was reluctant to submit but i did and never heard from them. Most people dont look their cpu usage while playing a game and they dont know how much cpu it needs but i do and watch it all the time and i must say doesn't look good at all if your a gamer we are best prey. So i look around and try others games platform and as now could not find one to trust.

For 10 years I was a happy customer of Club Iwin, and I had built up some credits. Since I had these credits I let my credit card information lapse. I was then informed that I had to spend ALL of them within 120 days, even though I had technically already paid for the credits. I couldn't find 10 games I wanted to buy in those days so my credits were taken away. I kindly asked them to refund my money and they have refused. They said I could get it back if I rejoin. To me this is like having a gift card that expires. (Isn't that illegal?)

When a game has bugs or glitches it is nearly impossible to get any support. They have overworked volunteer moderators to handle the forum. All they do is delete your comments or lock the thread if you start to complain. The "technical support" process does not work and there is no way to comment or find out if other users are having the same issues. These games are not free, and I pay a monthly fee (not for long)

I purchased several games and the backup disk, The games are no longer available in their catalog and the "backup disk" doesn't work. When I contacted iwin, to was basically told too bad. It was a complete waste of money purchasing these games and the disk and a complete waste of time trying to contact them.

Tip for consumers:
Do not purchase anything from this company as they are only out to take your money but do not back up their product and their customer service is terrible.

Wont fix issues despite saying they are fixed. When you try to contact they just don't answer except to say issue solved. I bought a few hundred dollars worth of games that I can not play because of issue/

Game didn't work, absolutely zero customer service, unless you want to pay $10 a month to play you're already paid for game. Like being mislead...

An awful games manager. The games you download are full of bugs and customer support is terrible. Every time the games manager updates it removes all your games (and all your progress) and it isn't optional. If you choose not to update, the manager just quits on you.

Iwin is a game developer, as well as a game portal. So they make games, and they sell games made by themselves and by other developer. They are the makers of the Jewel Quest series (match3-games), they made Family Feud series, Jojo's Fashion show and many other.
Their game portal site has a lot of activities - with something called Hotel Iwin - what is a "social casual Game Virtual World". You earn "opals" from buying and playing games from their portal, and these opals can be used to get stuff for your hotel room at Hotel Iwin.
And here are also different online games.

Games are quite cheap, depending on your membership status. As a member of either Club Iwin or All Access, you get cheaper games(USD6.99), access to super-low offers (as low as USD 3.49) if you buy games, or unlimited play (renting) plus a monthly bonus game as long as you are a member. As a non-member you pay as low as 9.99 up to 19.99 for CE-games.

Some games are free to download and play, but they come with ads.
They have game forums, with customer reviews and game tips.

One thing I didn't like was the fact that their games come with a mandatory game manager. You cannot play your games without it. Part of the reason may be the "opals" you earn simply by playing your games, this Game Manager records how long you play a game, and award you accordingly. But inherent in this is that Iwin can monitor how long you spend playing a game.
Another factor against them is that my AV (two different ones) really didn't like some of the files in their Game Manager and believed them to be Trojans. I ok-d the suspicous files, but after an update to my AV, they were back to being suspicous again.

Either this company has a lousy practice of talking to AV-programs, or some of their GM-files are actually that invasive, and I suspect that this is partly correct seeing as the GM has the capability of monitoring and reporting your gaming habit.

I do not think this is done with malicious intent, but one need to consider if one wants a game portal to have this information, and what exactly they do with it.

As stated earlier by Astonishingly, this is a horrible site since they have started requiring updates. When an update is available, the consumer has no option but to update. Once the update is complete games are gone and most often when one tries to reinstall, there is a problem that does not allow reinstallation of the game without jumping through hoops (sometimes not at all). I do not understand (if they're not trying to rip consumers off) why you MUST perform the update. It always says the update is to "fix bugs", but there always seems to be new "bugs" when they update. BAD customer service!
