Kora India Divine Design

I live in the US. I have been wearing Kora clothing for over 15 years. These are high-quality garments that last a long time. They are a unique blend of ancient Indian and modern aesthetics. I often get compliments whenever I wear these clothes. In addition, I support this brand because it is a small business run by a solo female founder. She works hard to please her customers by often going the extra mile for them. The founder also truly cares about her employees; for over a decade, Kora has supported so many local artisans and impoverished people. They engage in hand-block printing, which is a beautiful, traditional Indian art, which is sadly declining. Kora is also serious about sustainability - They do their best to ethically source their materials and avoid wasting excess materials by creating accessories.

Ordered two dresses from them online to Brooklyn, New York.
Got one water drenched damaged dress instead of even talking about replacement/ refunds it went in circles of insurance claim on the package. I did not buy from UPS, bought from Kora so I do not know why I have to have discussions with the delivery partner instead of someone from the brand. The saga went on for almost two weeks. With no resolution from their end. In the end on a label that says dry clean only - they tell me water or whatever liquid the dress was soaked in is absolutely fine on a silk dress.
After spending 20k on two dresses and willing to buy more if this is the customer service Id get I would beware of buying online from this brand.
Maybe people will have better luck buying in store, but incase there is anything wrong with their clothes better luck trying to expect them to care. An unreliable brand that does not stand behind its product.
