I had several questions when it came to my package getting an LLC, questions about a registered agent, virtual mail, etc. I talked to Jazmine, an agent there. Not only was she very professional, but she was also very knowledgeable about my services. She understood my needs. She was even able to get me in contact with someone who could get my voters registration card sent to me because I needed to use that as a secondary ID in order to get my virtual mail address processed. She was patient, and she was happy to hear me out. She also took the time to explain why I needed a registered agent, and she made me feel really comfortable with choosing an agent through LegalZoom. I feel like I made a great decision because of her. LegalZoom itself has great options for obtaining an LLC. They also have a payment plan if you wanted to split your payments for three months which I think is amazing. I would recommend them to anyone!

I paid for a PLLC. My documents were sent to the TX comptroller and now they are saying that I have to pay franchise tax. And in there website appears like an LLC not a PLLC. I can't change it. I'm opening a a law firm, not a franchise. I reached out to LZ for 2 days and they refused to help me or escalate my problem. Now I have a situation in which the State says that I have to pay Franchise taxes, when it's a Law Firm I am registering. I will probably have to pay for this to be fixed out of pocket, an error the LZ committed and refuse to assist in fixing.
I wanted to dissolve or close my LLC, and in addition to spending hours and hours talking to them on the phone, they asked me to follow a lot of steps to close the company, I was precisely paying for this service so I could occupy my time on other matters, and I decided to ask for my money back and they didn't give it back to me.
Legal zoom agents sat on thier button and sent emails and think that's worth $299 a year. Also before the renewal date they sent out an email saying we must update our credit card because the one they have on file has expired (for good reason). We did not contact legal zoom and expected them to contact us by phone for a membership or they were going to cancel our buisness, however they charged the same bank account anyway using an expired card and then sent us a congratulations anniversary email. I very much was not impressed with legalzoom and believe them to be very close to criminal. We had to pay them to disolve our company and they didn't refund our renewal charge because it had been more than 30 days from the subscription date. Great way to run a corrupt buisness.
They helped with the cancellation and refund of my subscription as I transitioned to a local provider for more in-depth help with my businesses. It's a great service for a simple start up. Very helpful!
