“On the right track”

Guido R.

While Lidl is still not as competitive in prices than Aldi, it certainly offers overall much better deals than Tesco, Asda and Sainsbury's, and I was impressed by its latest price roll back initiative for fruits, vegetables and salads. That is clearly the way to go to end greedflation!

“Good for customers, cheap but still areas to improve”

SARAH C.

I work in the Regional Distribution Centres. Took the job because I thought it would be easy on my anxiety etc. And turns out it's not a very nice place to work. A lot of bullying and constantly made to feel I'm not doing a good job. Despite having a degree and holding lots of qualifications and skills. They don't trust me to use a computer to print labels, use a photocopier or count how many cases there are on a pallet. Whenever I'm doing well at something, they question me if I'm doing the job correctly. Stock constantly gets rotated back and fourth, they sell too much rubbish that nobody buys, gets sent back to warehouses and then sorted. And picked again and sent back to store again. Hence why some of it is damaged and faulty. The store is great for customers and cheap, although some stuff is actually cheaper and better quality elsewhere. But company is awful to work for. Too much bullying.

Verschrikkelijk, wat een traagheid, en maar afschuiven, maar niet tot een oplossing komen.
Voor 1 probleempje 6 (!) mensen moeten mailen!

Liars!
I regularly shop at Lidl, which is better value and quite good at continental stuff. Their new wines are good, and advertised as "buy 4 bottles and get a wine carrier and £4 off". So I bought my 4 bottles... and was told that regardless of what the Lidl leaflet says the offer does not apply at my local Lidl..." It's probably illegal to advertise something that is not true, but it is also very stupid. I want my £4 off!

Lidl is one of those supermarkets you'd think oh god, I wouldn't want to be seen dead buying beans in there. More and more people are now starting to shop at places like Lidl and Aldi, simply because you can buy more for your money. I shopped at the likes of Sainsbury's for years but when one of my kanjoos (tight $#*!) uncles took us there shopping once when I stayed at his house, I thought, you know what, its actually not bad. The groceries are actually better quality in my opinion and what you can buy for £50 at like Tesco you can get for £30 at lidl. Bargain mate
