“I love Lycogel's Foundation!”

I love Lycogel's Foundation! - In the past, I have been a loyal user of mineral powder make up. THEN I tried Lycogel foundation. I have now switched to being a loyal Lycogel fan. The coverage is great, it is not overly drying on my skin, and I feel like my skin is looking better overall since I started using it. The website tells you about the science of the products and has some great before/after photos to give you an idea of the coverage. They also make a foundation for acne prone skin with salicylic acid and concealers (blue and yellow). I have tried the concealers and I thought they had very, very good coverage, but were too heavy for my under eye area alone. I just mixed a little with my eye cream to thin it out a bit and make it go on more easily.

“Not enough colours to suit pale skins...”

CHERRIE C.

I've been using Lycogel for around 13 years but i do now resent Lycogel and would love to find another similar product that has a better colour collection. I use the colour Cream but the original colour cream was great and the perfect match for me but a few years ago the colour suddenly changed. I remember because when i called my local supplier she warned me she had been inundated with complaints form cream wearers that the colour had become a lot lighter and now didn't suit anymore. And sure enough it was lighter and no longer looked natural. It does also make my skin look dry and after wearing for a few hours can flake off. It's also very difficult to remove every night and when you have very sensitive like myself the last thing you want to do is make your skin red and burn by over rubbing it. Lycogel is very expensive, my local supplied charges around £55 including delivery. The reason why i use it is it cover the redness in my skin and also give protection from the uv rays from the sun as i have a light sensitive illness. But I am so fed up that in all the years i've been using it they have not come up with more colours except for Pearl which is way to dark for me. I use the best colour i can which is cream... when i complained to lycogel, that they need more colours to suit very pale skin They just said mix the colours to get your perfect shade but that means having to buy two and wasting some everyday as guessing the right amount to use is very hard. And who needs the hassle of it all! My advice is you can find something else then don't bother with lycogel. I am now desperate to find the right shade with another...
