Old Town Atelier

Old Town Atelier scammed me and blocked me. Alexandra Kolar stole my money and gave me every excuse you can think of. Alexandra Kolar then stopped responding to my messages. I had to file a dispute to get my money back. Old town Atelier is a scam in my opinion. They also run under the company name Press and Ink

I paid Old Town Atelier in California $400+ for laser materials back in July of this year.
Over the next weeks, I sent multiple contact requests asking for an update and estimated ship date.
No reply at all. I tried calling Old Town Atelier but there was no answer.
Finally, I requested a refund since my order had not shipped and I didn't want it to show up while I was out of town.
Dan Kolar, one of the owners of Old Town Atelier, finally responded and claimed he just shipped it and I could refuse the shipment for a full refund.
So, per his request, I refused the package and it was returned to him on August 12th.
After the package was returned to Old Town Atelier, they blocked me.

I tried to follow up with Dan Kolar via Facebook messanger. I asked him where my promised refund was considering he has the materials and my money... he then blocked me on Facebook.
Dan Kolar and Alexandra Kolar are criminals who stole my money and blocked me.
It's not just happening to me... I then realized MANY others are experiencing the same exact problems with their scam company.
Old Town Atelier is currently being investigated by the Department of Justice across multiple states.
Avoid this company!

They accept your order, take your payment, then they refuse to ship your product and block you. I then found out, I'm not the only one. I have since filed a claim, that they will not respond to.

My only regret is I didn't order more of the whiteboard. Great service with fast response times. I have ordered several times for Baltic birch and draftboard.
