Friendly staff but selective merchandise. I only shop here to purchase my cat food and cat litter. One of the few stores I can purchase it from. They don't leave too many of the brand I purchase but it is popular and they often sell out of it fast. When I go I pick up 2-3 bags at a time because when you need it you need it.

I enjoyed online ordering for a few years and have decided no longer to support their business. They have been mucking up my online orders recently and I have decided to no longer support their company and go back to chewy.com.

At first I was quite happy a local store I bought from finally offered online services. This only happened because covid generated a new line of business for consumers. Ecomerce orders. You can either order online then pick up at store or pay a flat fee for home delivery. I generally did home delivery just to eliminate this one errand.

At first I was happy and pleased. Then covid yrs occurred. Then the supply chain became mucked up and this company had a very difficult time getting reliable product in. They began to limit consumers to 2 maybe 3 quantity on most products. Which is understandable but also annoying to the consumer. I'm flexible on product substitutes and had no issues of calling them for substitutes on my pet's food(s) or litter. Even that they managed to muck up time and time again.

I also began to have delivery issues. I live in an A, B, C unit and it isn't that difficult to read a, b, c, on the door. Most drivers are just lazy and blindly drop it off in the middle. Neighbors are not nice in my neighborhood. They will happily keep a free package that happens their way. Even if they decide to hold onto it for a month or more before they decide "no I don't want it it's not for me." Many times I've had to call the company for a refund due to the driver lazily just dropping items off in the middle unit. If I'm there I can snag them before the owner gets home but many a time I can not. Of course if it does not have my name on it I shall not grab it. This was a dance I did with this company for months. I finally decided after the last muck up to pull my business from this company.

Their prices have steadily increased with inflation like everything else. I'd say covid inflation increased their product prices any where from 25%-30%. I have found cheaper items on chewy and with auto order it makes it 15% cheaper. I did the math and chewy is cheaper. Now that chewy has recovered from the covid supply issue slow down I'm going back to them. Yes you have to pay for shipping but I have had zero issues with them. And the customer service reps with chewy have always been very supportive on refunds.

The annoying part with pets pros is that you have to call the store you ordered the product from for a refund. Just because the driver snaps a picture of the delivered product at the right color door does not mean it's at the correct location. Too many a time I've had them follow google maps. Say for example I have issues with my neighbor's address being let's say 1001 and I'm 1010. Drivers will often miss read the address and deliver to wrong destination.

Personally I still support Pet Pros but I only buy in person from now on if my chewy orders have been delayed or canceled due to supply issues. They are not my full time supplier of pet food for my pets.
