I used to enjoy this site. It was one of my favourites. Approachable by both genders and a great way to build up friends and check out eachothers websites. But recently, Piczo has turned into a blogging site, where the emphasis on website building (the reason for the website in the first place) has been pushed to the back. I loved the idea of making a free website and having the freedom to do whatever i wanted on it, and i have no doubt that was the lure for everyone who loved the site too.
When I went to the Piczo website, I was in shock. Its become so girly, it has become practically inapproachable for boys! (I am a girl, and even I don't like this at all). I found it extremely difficult to even LOCATE let alone edit my site, and even when i found it, there were so many errors!
Please Piczo, I would have no problem rating your site 4 stars if it was still the same old Piczo we used to know and love! If Piczo was to return to the way it used to be, then I'm sure the website traffic would dramatically improve and the many thousands of people who have no doubt gave up on this site would return too!
Piczo has now ruined it's reputation as one of the safest sites on the net. By creating this blogging community anyone now has access to the members sites. Young girls are putting photos of themselves on the "explore" section [where blogs are found] that they really shouldn't! I used to love Piczo, and that was mostly because kids were safe. There are no flag buttons anywhere now, so we can't flag innapropriate behavior or content. On top of that the staff is being bombarded with complaints yet they say they need to see a petition with a certain amount of signatures before they will consider bringing the old Piczo back. Existing members were forced to take on a nickname, thereby creating a new account and making it to where they can't even access their friends list now. There is no way around this. It is just like that. Errors pop up all the time. People are having problems working on their sites. SInce they want to be stubborn about bringing Piczo back to what it should be I will make it known that they are doing that, and by doing that, have created a site that isn't safe for young people anymore!
