I ordered an appraisal from https://rvpricingandappraisals.com on June 15.

I selected the "$99 10-30 day appraisal", and received a receipt and no further communication.

I waited 19 days, and then emailed asking to see if they'd received the order and when it would be ready. They said I could pay an extra $49 to expedite, otherwise it would be ready July 16th. I was fine to wait.

I emailed on July 18th asking for an update, and they said that I would have to call the next day. Frustrated, I replied and told them that it was starting to feel like a scam, that it had been more than 30 days, and they kept saying they were too busy unless I gave them more money.

They immediately sent me a screenshot saying they have returned my money and sent a long, incoherent email about how I was cheap, and how their poor business practices have made them really busy. I'll put the exchange below.

Avoid at all costs.

Really? This is starting to feel like a scam. At any point, I can pay an extra $50 to get it the next day, but I've been waiting over a month and the best response I can get is "wait another day and call customer service."?

I'm really disappointed with my experience so far.

About 97.8% of our customers pay the extra $49, (the price of a pizza) to get there appraisal not only the very same day, but it's guaranteed the very same day. When a customer orders a low priority appraisal, that's exactly what it means it's a low priority to them it's a low priority to us and 30 days is not guaranteed. We canceled the $99 appraisals A few weeks ago but are still honoring the few that decided to save money, because those 2% of customers were tying up our customer service team 40% of the time calling every single day emailing every single day. It's mind-blowing that someone that is buying an RV tens and tens of thousands of dollars or even hundreds of thousand dollars would not want to spend 49 bucks for a guaranteed same day appraisal. The low priorities aren't even guaranteed. We are extremely busy with our high priority customers So when customer service opens I am sure they will take care of you, that's why we have an office staffed with two employees 10 hours a day 7 days a week. And if you think our company which is been in business 10 years and has over 50,000 customers is a scam, then there's nothing we could do to help you. Maybe this is a good experience for you to understand that sometimes saving a few pennies isn't worth it.

I'm sorry that I've offended you, and I'm sorry that you've had bad experiences with customers emailing daily to see when their low priority appraisal would be complete. However, I don't think it's appropriate or professional for you to take out your frustration on me.

I ordered a low-priority appraisal because I didn't need it immediately -- the 10-30 day timeline aligned with my needs, so I didn't see a need to waste $49 (and by the way, that's some expensive pizza) to get it the same day. I also figured you were busy, so I wouldn't shove low priority work in a high-priority queue, and lastly I figured you'd stand by your stated timeframe. I don't understand why this is mindblowing.

I did not email dailly - I submitted the order, received no communication for 3 weeks, then sent an email to make sure it had been received. I was told it would be done on the 16th (that's 31 days, but I was like, "ok"), and then waited an additional 2 days past the date it was supposed to be done to email again. If this is somehow tying up 40% of your customer service, I suggest that I'm not the problem.

We've had the $99 appraisal since 2018 and have not had a price increase pre-COVID for 4 years. We maintained that pricing for our loyal devoted customers through historic inflation. Less than 2% of our customers order the non-guaranteed 30-day appraisal, and 100% of those 2% call or email us multiple times before the 30 days wondering where their appraisal is Just like you did on day 19. We even had a $49 expedite product where if you changed your mind you could just pay the $49 at any time and receive the appraisal same day, but again you chose not to do that.

Below you will see the product you ordered and crystal clear verbiage stating it the turnaround time is not guaranteed. You also see the confirmation you received which was a pop-up. Of course if you have your system pop-up blockers blocked then you would not see that confirmation but that is not our fault. You also have the receipt that you paid for. More importantly our offices are open 10 hours a day 7 days a week and we can be contacted with a simple phone call, text message, instant messenger function on the website, or email.

And because of your false Facebook post, we have deleted you and banned you from our Facebook group, PLUS our 11 larger affiliated Facebook RV groups and put you on the do not do business with customer list which is extremely small over the past 10 years but, you're now on it.

When you post words like "scam" on Facebook, we take that very seriously especially being the leader in the entire in RV industry with what we do and being in business 10 years. I don't know how many companies have over 6,000 unsolicited testimonials throughout the internet and in print and publications and books, have a dedicated customer service team open 70 hours a week that's just a phone call away, and have kept their rates the same prior to COVID and historic inflation. We are far from a scam, And have saved our customers over a billion dollars with a B and have an average sellers appraisal time of 19 days. Blower the screenshots and we have plenty of other proof, we also issued you an immediate 100% refund when you mentioned the word scam.

We only deal with difficult customers like you a couple times a year, but the best part is, we pick what customers we want to service.
