All I can suggest is, if it is an item you REALLY want and cannot live without, order it from somewhere else. I ordered 4 Limited Edition figurines in April of 2022 ($400 - $450 total cost). Delivery dates were pushed back over and over again by Sideshow. Finally called them about 8 months in and asked if the items were cancelled or were they actually going to be delivered, I was told they were still all still valid orders and would be coming into stock. I finally received one of the items I ordered, the other 3 were cancelled more than a year after ordering. I do think Sideshow prices can be lower than other retailers, but that doesn't help if you don't receive the items you ordered and have to scramble later to find them elsewhere (ultimately paying more). Last, I have read other reviews in which Sideshow customers stated that they were unable to leave negative reviews on the website, and I had that same issue. Negative statements kept getting kicked back and could not be submitted. I won't bother shopping here again, it's just not worth saving a little bit to deal with all the problems.

Tip for consumers:
Closing my Sideshow account.

Products used:
Received one collectible figurine out of 4 ordered.

I was a valuable customer for about 30 years and more. I decided to cancel all open orders. Sideshow kept my NRDs and showed me since the troubles of August 1st with a pre-order item that they're perfect in keeping the money from customers!
Sideshow charged me around 360€ for a Hot Toys pre-order item AND the NRD extra because of a "system failure" they said. On August 17th they refund me 308€ with PayPal and charged the PayPal fee on my account thus it was their mistake! Sideshow really became the worst. That's not business anymore that looks like fraud. Hands away from Sideshow and the business will be honest!

Sideshow Collectibles won't permit any except stellar reviews on their site but they will not stop me from speaking up about my experience. Sideshowtoy who also goes by Sideshow is an illigitimate company run by scammers and con artists. I had an $1800 statue on preorder payed in full before it finally came into stock and "shipped" but the statue never arrived. As a matter of fact it never even shipped. Sideshow provided me a fake tracking number that showed a package delivered to a different address in a different country on the UPS website. It wasn't my package. Sideshow then claimed my item was lost in transit and denied responsibility. I lost $1800 and by then my PayPal protection window had passed. Sideshow knew this and they took advantage of it. If you're reading this never pay off an item early before it's in stock. And avoid Sideshow.com at all cost.

I've spent over $******* on sideshow products over the years from comic stores and from their site. I've had a few issues with them and that is where the problems come in.

- A product arrived damaged. They sent out a replacement part, but it wasn't in the best condition. I contacted them about the part and they said they would not replace the part because the part I was unsatisfied with could not be seen once the statue is put together.

- They will not let you leave what they perceive to be a negative review of a product. That should tell you how shady they are.

- I had a statue on a purchase plan. It was delayed a few months and I didn't realize that my credit card expired before the last charge. The item was ordered about a year before and should have arrived before my card expired. I received an email and lost my deposit even though I called them and explain the situation. They had all my information and only sent an email. I do not check my email every day, so I didn't see the notice until it was too late. I had checked their site earlier and they do not leave notifications on your account. So no item and loss of deposit.

- I had another order that was canceled by them for no reason. The day it was supposed to arrive they contacted UPS and recalled the order for no reason. I contacted customer service and they blamed the carrier. I tracked the items on the website and it specifically stated that the package was recalled by Sideshow. They claimed once an order has been returned to them, they cannot send it out again. Sounds fishy to me.

- Rewards points. I had a couple of hundred dollars worth of rewards points expire. It seems that they decided to place an expiration date on their rewards points. I've been a customer with them for a decade. Apparently, they expired on the 1st of the year, and I tried to use them to make a purchase on the 3rd. I placed an order recently (the one that they canceled) and it never gave me a notification that my rewards points were expiring. They stated that they sent an email out a year ago, but I didn't see it or I thought it was an advertisement from Sideshow and didn't read it. I read that they would mark the points that are about to expire and I didn't see anything when I placed my previous order. I also check my notifications regularly, but for some reason, they do not put that on your account notifications. It's because they want you to lose your points. I probably should have used the points earlier, but I wanted to save them in case there was something I really wanted, and I didn't have enough set aside to purchase it.

These are just some of the examples of issues I've had with them. Some were disappointing and minor, but the loss of the points is the straw that broke the camel's back. Life lessons. I will see if I can use my remaining points and never support them again. These experiences make it seem like they try to screw you over every chance they get. They sell products from other manufacturers, I will purchase directly from those manufacturers instead.
