SketchUp

I just wanted to make a quick mock-up of my floorplan to try some alternatives. I used SketchUp a long time ago when it was still a Google product, but I found this version to be basically worthless. I was able to import my background image, and the next step would be to trace over the walls with boxes then extrude them. First, the interface is so badly done I had to search Google for how to get a top view. Second, after adding a box to be a pillar, I wanted to edit it to fit it just right, but I couldn't figure out how to do that. To I closed the window and gave up. For even the basic functionality to be that horrible to use, I wasn't going to waste my time going any further with this digital feces.
