Order a much sought after perfume and it's a toss up as to what you'll get, or so the name would suggest. However I have been lucky so far - no problem at all. The business is doing well, I believe.
Their perfume is old and it stinks! Don't waste your time or money! It smells like old lady perfume, very bad odor. They don't tell you that their perfume is old and dark brown. The reviews they show are misleading. Don't surrender to chance!

Perfume, it was horrible.
I've bought from many perfume sample stores, including Luckyscent, Scentsplit, The Perfumed Court, etc. But, Surrender to Chance has always been my favorite. Customer service is great, shipping is fast, and the juice is always fresh. I ended up purchasing quite a few full sized bottles after trying their samples and the smells of the samples have always been the same as those of the originals. Unfortunately, that changed recently.
In my last order I purchased Tom Ford Lost Cherry. I was so excited about this perfume, so even before receiving the sample I went ahead and ordered a travel size bottle from the official Tom Ford website. When the sample finally came in I decided to compare it with the original. The sample did smell like Lost Cherry, but a lot weaker. While the original has moderate projection for the first hour and lasts on my skin for about 3-5 hours, the sample had no projection whatsoever, and half an hour after the application I could not smell anything. The worst part though, was the oily and sticky texture of the sample. It would not absorb at all (see the picture of my shiny arm and an oily spot on paper).
This is very disappointing as STC has been my go-to place to get samples, and I really hope this is just an accident.

you might recieve bad samples

My experience with this company has been all around pleasant. They had some of the older and hard to find scents at a good price; they have amazon pay as a payment option which I love as it made my shopping experience so much easier, shipping was on point and all of the samples I bought smelled fresh.
There isn't anything negative I have to say about Surrender to Chance the only thing I wish is they had a less cumbersome site and a more designer scents, but if you're looking for a niche sent or older scent definitely check them out.
All in all my experience was very good and I have already made another purchase from them, so don't hesitate to give them a try. Surrender to Chance and you just might find the fragrance of your dreams.
Very prompt service, quick shipping, great communication, but some of the samples I ordered smell so very faint., weak, and I wonder if they may be the full potency. I guess if you're on the fence about splurging for a big bottle of expensive scent, this is a decent way to test before you buy, but I wonder if the samples are true representatives of the real perfumes.
