Picking the granite was easy and friendly. The trouble came when the installer started to cut the cooktop hole. I was told "you'd have a little dust". He started the shopvac and cut away. I walked back into the house when the smoke alarm sounded and you couldn't see through the dust from one room to the next. Never apologized. Just kept working on the cut. The shopvac was in the reverse mode and pushed dust back into the room, was the conclusion. He never helped cleanup area just wanted his payment and done. I complained to owner he was apologetic "this never happens" but it did and 3 hours of cleaning up dust. He was asked to go halves on professional cleaning costs (kids with asthma). Then the hole was too small and had to come back to fix cut. Same guy as day before, but today confrontational and mad. He said he got his butt chewed out over the mess. Still no apology just banging stuff around to fix the cut by 1/8". The granite is not secure and I need to have it correctly. I'll find someone else to do it.
