Thevitaminshoppe

My first time order with the Vitamin shoppe was for a product called "pure stevia" in packets and manufactured by the company KaL. I was excited initially to find this product as each packet has 25mg of monk fruit in it allowing me to have multiple uses out of one packet of the stevia monk fruit blend. I ordered 5 boxes. When the product arrived everything looked the same except for two words "sure stevia". The product "sure stevia" has only 12mg of monk fruit in the blend and you have to use the whole packet if not more in a drink. I called The Vitamin shoppe and told them I ordered "pure stevia" and the guy on the phone verified that I did. He then said "well you can return the items for exchange but you will likely just get the same product back again as we just order it from the manufacturer. I then asked him for KAL's phone number which he gave me and said I would call them back. I called KAL the manufactuer and asked about "pure stevia" and they said they have not produced this product in over THREE YEARS!. So what is up with The vitamin shoppe not only advertising a product that doesn't exist and hasn't been produced in over three years. Not one person in the company could notice that the product isn't available and take it off their website in over 3 years, WOW! What does that say about the company? I then called the vitamin shoppe back and told them they were advertising for sale a product that hasn't been produced in over 3 years. I was told they would pass that information onto the proper department. Fast forward over 3 week and I went on their website to check and they were still advertising the "pure stevia". I will never buy from this company no matter what kind of deal they may advertise. Very, very unprofessional in my opinion.
